Hello,
About reporting on GitHub, I recommend the following video: (1) AMA with Nicholas Zein – Suggesting Ideas and Reporting Bugs – YouTube.
elementor_1_elementor_updater_cron does not exist in Elementor Core and can may be created by third party plugin or code or custom. Anyway I will try to help you.
According to your message, it is not clear to me if I verify a plugin conflict.
Here are a few steps that we can start with to troubleshoot this issue:
1.But you should make sure that Elementor Core, is updated to the latest version.?
2. Another suggestion to fix your issue is to use a plugin like “WP Optimize” or “Transients Manager” to clean up WordPress transients. Sometimes, old transients can cause issues with scheduled events.
3. You can use the “WP Crontrol” plugin to manage and reschedule WordPress cron events. This plugin allows you to view, edit, delete, and add cron events.
- Install and activate the “WP Crontrol” plugin.
- Navigate to Tools > Cron Events.
- Find the elementor_1_elementor_updater_cron event and manually reschedule it.
Please let me know if the problem persists after trying these steps, or if you’re unable to carry out any of them. It would also be helpful if you could provide any error messages you’ve seen, or describe in more detail what happens when you try to view your changes live.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through this. I’m confident we can get your Elementor builder back to normal functionality.

Hello,
I have been trying to replicate the issue on my local host, but was unable to do so. I understand that you have found a solution by changing the image to custom.
I understand that this is not the way you prefer. As you can see in my image, that tag does not come from Elementor, and reactivate. The basics might help you solve the issue. Something other than Elementor is adding that code to your images in the articles.
Deactivate the cache plugins, or any server cache and see where the issue is coming from.
It could be the theme, or some other plugin. Here are a few steps that we can start with to troubleshoot this issue:
- Clear Caches: Although you mentioned that you have already deactivated your caching plugin, it might still be worth it to clear any remaining caches. This includes your browser cache, server cache (if applicable), and any other caching services you may be using.
- Version Check: Please ensure you are running the latest versions of WordPress and Elementor. Outdated versions could cause compatibility issues.
- Theme Switch: Try switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One to see if the problem persists. This could help identify if there’s a conflict with your current theme.
- Plugin Conflict Test: It’s great that you’ve already tried deactivating your plugins, but I would suggest reactivating them one by one and checking your site after each one. This could help identify if a specific plugin is causing the issue.

Hi @saznajmo,
From what I understand, the option to use the old sections/columns will not be deactivated in the future?
There are no plans to remove or completely delete sections/columns.
And if that ever happens, the pages that were created with sections/columns will not have any problems and we will be able to continue using sections/columns on them, or do you mean that there will be no problems with those pages if we continue to use Flexbox Containers after using sections/columns?
You can continue to use sections/columns as long as you have Flexbox Containers disabled. If you start using Flexbox Containers, the sections/columns will remain until you decide to change the sections/columns to Flexbox Containers.
And one more question, for the future if sections/columns were used and if they are disable in the future updates, will the security update for them stop?
As mentioned, there are no plans to remove or delete what was created with sections/columns.

No, Elementor itself doesn’t automatically detect which URLs need custom templates. It’s up to you, the user, to identify those specific URLs.
While Elementor Pro offers features for creating custom post templates, the free version focuses on page templates.
- Content variation: Elementor is excellent when you need different layouts for different content types. You might have a standard blog post template, but a separate template for case studies or product pages. Elementor can’t determine this distinction on its own.
- URL structure: While URLs can provide clues, they aren’t always definitive. For instance, you might have blog posts with different categories under similar URLs. You’ll need to consider the content itself to decide if a custom template is necessary.
Elementor, like other WordPress page builders, may not have full control over certain default slugs or pages generated by WordPress itself or by other plugins. These reserved slugs can sometimes cause issues where the default WordPress theme styles are applied instead of the Elementor styles. Here’s a general overview of how Elementor interacts with these reserved slug pages:
- /uncategorized/: This slug is used by WordPress for uncategorized posts. If your site doesn’t use categories, this can still appear for any post that hasn’t been assigned a category. You may need to create a template for these pages in Elementor to ensure they are styled correctly.
- /embed/: This slug is used for oEmbed iframe embeds, which are typically handled by WordPress’s default oEmbed functionality. Elementor might not have control over the styling of these embeds because they are rendered outside of Elementor’s template system.
To manage these pages and ensure they reflect your Elementor styles, you can take the following steps:
SEO Plugin Sitemap: Use an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO or Rank Math to generate a sitemap. Review the sitemap to identify any pages or slugs that are not styled by Elementor and create templates for them.
Use Child Theme: If necessary, make adjustments in your child theme’s functions.php file to control the output of certain reserved slugs and ensure they are styled properly by Elementor.

Hello,
If you are using the free version of Elementor, then you will either be using a third party plugin or using their theme to create your header and footer. Whichever way you’re using, Unfortunately, we cannot provide support or control of third-party plugins. Please try contacting the author of your plugins, for extra guidance.
Here are the steps you can take:
Deactivate all plugins except Elementor. See if the header and footer reappear. If they do, reactivate plugins one by one to identify the culprit.
Update Elementor, WordPress, and your theme to the latest versions. Outdated software can cause conflicts.
Make sure it’s set to Default Template or Elementor Full Width. Avoid using the Elementor Canvas layout as it removes headers and footers.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
This behavior you’re describing is related to how web pages and images interact with zooming in your browser. When you set an image to full width using CSS (like width: 100%), it tells the image to fill the available space within its container element. Zooming your browser changes the viewport size, which is the visible area of the webpage.
You can use CSS properties like Width and Min height to maintain the image’s aspect ratio while keeping it responsive.

Hi,
The glitch you’re experiencing with the WordPress Menu block in Elementor might be caused by a mixed content issue.
Here’s what’s happening: Your website (https://www.daletravers.com/) is secured with HTTPS, which is great for security. However, the Elementor plugin is trying to load a stylesheet (widget-nav-menu.min.css) using the insecure HTTP protocol. Modern browsers block these mixed content requests to maintain security.
This can cause unexpected behavior with the menu block, including the oversized dropdown arrow you mentioned.
Here’s how to fix the mixed content issue:
1. Use the Elementor “Replace URL” Tool:
- Go to Elementor > Tools > Replace URL.
- Enter your old site address (with HTTP) in the first field.
- Enter your new, secure site address (with HTTPS) in the second field.
- Click Replace URL.
2. Regenerate Elementor Files:
- Go to Elementor > Settings > General.
- Click the Regenerate Files button.
3. Clear Your Website Cache: Some caching plugins might hold onto the old stylesheet reference. Clear your website cache to ensure it loads the updated version.

Kind Regards,Hi,
I hope this message finds you well.
This can be caused by several factors, I am going to give you some solutions:
Check for plugin conflicts: Deactivate all plugins except Elementor and see if the issue persists. If it does, then Elementor is the culprit. If not, then another plugin might be conflicting with Elementor. Reactivate your plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
Reinstall Elementor: Sometimes a reinstall can fix glitches and bugs. Try reinstalling Elementor and see if it resolves the issue.
I am here to support you through this challenging situation. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
