Thank you for your really helpful reply. I followed the link you provided and added the code provided on the other thread you referenced to my functions.php page. That solved the problem. As soon as I did I was able to upload my vCard file to my WordPress website.

I didn’t mean to imply that I was looking for a free theme. I am fine with paying for a theme from a theme designer or developer. I would prefer to buy a stock one since it will be far simpler and less expensive compared to a custom project built from the ground up by a freelance theme developer/designer.

I will follow you suggestion and search for free themes. I have already found some really nice ones at themeforest dot com and their prices are very reasonable at an average cost of $5 to $15 for each theme.

It is good and encouraging to hear that installing WordPress is not a difficult process. I would like to install it on my own server so that I can host my own wordpress sites. My server is a Mac running OS X (Leopard, if I’m not mistaken). I’ve read somewhere that aside from installing WordPress’ software users who wish to run it also need to install PHO (???). Are there any step-by-step instructions on how to install WordPress on a Mac OS X server? Can you recommend any guide or tutorial that would show in a simple manner how to do it?
