First I think it’s unsafe to give folder a 777 permission and giving the public an access to upload files on your server. Someone might upload a malicious file and ruin your server.

As for the upload limit, have you restarted your apache already?

I thought I can get away with this requirement already but it’s back again. Anyhow, got my requirements simplified.

In the table editor, can we have the Add Link button a browse/file upload button for the URL box? And after upload the file URL will be inputted in the URL box. I can then input a Link Text I like.

nickboss here has done a good inline uploader, this is something I am talking with the browse/file uploader: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/inline-upload/

I am willing to give a donation for this feature as I really need this right now.

I think I found out the issue in my case. The emails are getting marked as spam in our antispam because of the sender being localhost and WordPress as the name. I just override the sender email address and username and whitelisted the address. It Works!

What I would ask at least is have the small images to center horizontally and vertically to at least show small images with a bit of art.

In the slider settings I have the following settings…
Slider size: Width: 600 Height: 300

In the Use custom image size under image section: 600 Height: 300

Whenever I upload a featured image that is wider than 600 it will automatically fit it to 600 but whenever I upload anything smaller than the 600 width it doesn’t scale to 600.

Can that be fixed?

So apparently that was not deleted using the plugin remover of WP.

I did not add that file manually, the plugin probably (and correctly) copied that there. I installed the plugin using the standard WP plugin install utility.

When I went to Settings -> Cimy User Extra Fields of my blog, there is a button in the General section that needs to be pressed to work (forgot the label of that). I think that made the copying of the file.

Any by the way deleting /var/www/html/mydomain.com/wp-content/mu-plugins/cimy_uef_mu_activation.php did not solve the issue.

I just deleted using the uninstall utility of WordPress.

This is the error message in debug mode with plugin deleted.

I need to create my users in /wp-admin/user-new.php but I cannot see the hidden and custom fields appear there except in the profile page and registration page. How can these fields be shown in /wp-admin/user-new.php?

I believe this is the answer to my question.

A: Unluckily due to a WordPress limitation I can’t add Extra Fields into user-new.php but you can quickly add all the users you want using my plugin: Cimy User Manager – https://www.marcocimmino.net/cimy-wordpress-plugins/cimy-user-manager/

Thanks for trying at least, I still need this feature as I need to add user with complete info once in awhile and I think it’s much efficient for me to just fill the data in instead of importing just one row of data.

Anyhow, am not really a programmer but tried playing around the user-new.php and removing the condition…

above the firstname and lastname form fields showed the hidden field I want to show but no inputs are being written in the database. I also able to create a custom filed in there but the same result.

How you can at least give advise how to have this write to the database.
