In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] dishonest plugin authorHi @sunny454
The old free plugin had no need to login to be able to import unlimited feeds. You can only pull in events from one feed on the free plugin now.
Time.ly paid addon plugins that were built on WordPress and downloaded never needed the purchaser to stay logged in to continue to function before. That has changed for the exact same features that still run on WordPress with no more functionality.
I did what you asked. Go to your login page and select to register. Clearly contact information is required for the free plugins and my colleague who has registered has received marketing email. Looked at your privacy policy. It says it “will be used to … market to you”.
I dont kmow what to say about open source and dont want to be rude. Perhaps you should look at the guidelines and licence for software built on WordPress and provided on www.ads-software.com. Your calendar plugin and calendar addons are open source.
I am providing an open review and clarifications. I understand you do not like my review, but that does not make it ‘incorrect information’ and it is not ‘unfair’ for me to post it.

Thankyou for your reply.
Same plugin – used to be really cool. Used to be the only one i could use to import events for free from other calendars directly.
My php developer disagrees – the addon plugins need login to use after download.
The plugin and addons are built on WordPress. Your plugin and plugin addons is open source software.
