Hello. I come back with more data on the same issue.
I have done a new fresh install (https://tamaz.ga) and used different p2 themes and child (p3 as well as houston).
I have install debug bar plugin to monitor php error and the famous status plugin.
I confirm that status plugin behaves right with p2 and also p3. I also observed that with child theme houston it continued to behave right. And then again with your child theme it does the issue above.
So can’t tell if this is peculiar with that plugin or symptomatic of something else.
But I had days of work on status misbehaving and it seems to trace back to your child. Again this might be a peculiar case with that plugin.

Just in passing I have verified the issue with p2 doing the same displaying username and indicating display name as false when using @ in the posting window with all plugins off on current install.

Thank you very much so now I see the issue has been made known.
It is a security issue.
I suggest that p2 use the display name and if not the first/last name or nothing is those are not present. Since the @ function is valuable.
Please forgive me but that requested coding is above me.
So if that is a bit of work to explain I will find some help somewhere.
I am using a child theme currently and I understand I affect the functions.php. right ?
Is there a code snippet to do this filter in the functions.php of the child theme?

and you can just create an instant author account with you fb account (which account you can erase afterwards)
On account creation you will see your display name is automatically assigned and distinct as your username.
Than put the @ right there and you will see.

Just seen the video.
I was surprised this is 34 mb as it is very short.
I am uploading from desktop.
I have to upload the video dropbox.
It is currently playing perfectly on my vlc player. It is 13 mb for 1 minute duration.
I try to upload it to dropbox.

So that does not make sense that it times out on 13 meg.

It is by default here since this is a test site and actually I took the file I had (just a few in this format) so yes I would need to change the php.ini you are right.

Thanks for the extra light. It is just something I am aware of and did not run into but this time I learned the hard way.

By the way I have another issue on another thread. It deals with P2 revealing hidden username with the @function. Could you help in this regard ?

I have to admnit that it was my fault as an “ignorant” newbie coder. (I am no coder and do not know the basic basic.)
The files namely functions.php and index.php etc.. MUST be edited with notepad++.
I have done such edit of code and pasting many times right but here I missed the ball. Use notepad++ otherwise it does not work.
