  • So has this problem been fixed. If I can’t import my blog from Blogger to WordPress then there’s no use to install WordPress. I have over a thousand post in my Blog. No way I can start my Blog over.

If this is a problem the Admins should let the public know. Remember before installing WordPress you have pay for hosting. If you can’t import from Blogger don’t let people waste their money thinking they can.

But I don’t need to buy a domain. I just need to move my Domain(www.mysite.com) that I have hosted at Blogger over to WordPress. What I’m asking is what steps do I take to do this, and in what order? For example:

    Step 1: Do this.

    Step 2: Do that.

For instance. As soon as I set up my account at Hostgator the very first thing it asks is to select a Domain. Well the domain I want to use(www.mysite.com) is already being hosted at Blogger. So what should I do? I can’t have two hosts for one Domain right? This is where I’m stuck. If someone could tell me the what steps in what order, that would be great. Thank you.

Thank you for the response. I’m confused on a few things. As I said my website (www.mysite.com) is hosted at Blogger. I just purchased hosting at Hostgator. So what should I do first? Can I install WordPress at Hostgator with no Domain Name and then move my blog over. Or do I need a Domain before installing WordPress on Hostgator? I also read someplace that I would have to go to my Registar and point my Domain to Hostgator first and then install WordPress.

Do you see where I’m confused?
