Hi Alex,
just tried the wp-shutter effect which works fine in FF.
But again like in the other cases, IE gives the problem.

This time when I click one of the photo’s, the site itself stays centered in the middle(which is positive), but the lightbox with the clicked picture is centered left…

Hi all,
I am having some problems with NextGEN Gallery when viewing a picture in IE 6. When I click a picture from the gallery, the whole site suddenly aligns to the left. The picture itself is perfectly centered in the middle.

This problem only doesn’t occur in FF where it works fine.

I use the Thickbox effect, installed NextGEN 0.98, and work with wordpress 2.6.

I allready tried the sollution from Voddie but this doesn’t effect anything on my site.
Also followed the leads on a similar problem explained on the jamazon forum(https://jamazon.co.uk/web/2008/03/17/thickbox-31-ie7-positioning-bug/) but without any effects.

I just fixed the problem by adding some extra information in the body besides only “text-align: center”.
I added the following extra info to the body which fixed the problem:

margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;

I have a problem with getting my website in the middle of the page.
It was centered in IE but FF showed the header centered and all that followed was aligned left sided.

Now the whole website is aligned left sided in IE and FF.

Anybody have a suggestion getting the whole site aligned in the middle of the page?

I just fixed the errors but I still have the same problem: alignment of the site in IE works perfect but in FF not. Only the header is centered in the middle and all that follows sticks to the left side of the screen.

Any recommendations?

I’ve been looking on the forum for some answers but still haven’t found a sollution.

First I previewed the page while I haven’t published it so perhaps that might be the problem, later I published the page but still without any effect.
Tried to watch in both IE and FF3 without any effects.

I also read the FAQ on Alex.Rabe’s site which explains that I should link the gallery with the page but also this doesn’t work.

Comments, anybody?
