I have a child theme. I need to know what to do in the child theme in order to make the changes stay..

Never mind I got it! Thanks! What you said did help a lot! I’m still learning about how to use child themes though so I made the changes in the parent and will have to change them until I figure out how to import the files to the child without the theme getting angry.

Thank you! So I created a child theme because I was changing everything the wrong way aparently.. but how do I make the changes to the child theme? In editor I selected the “customized theme” then underneath it all I see is..

“Templates
This child theme inherits templates from a parent theme,
Accesspress Lite
.

Styles
Stylesheet
(style.css)”

My question is do I just continue to make the changes under the parent theme and they will stick? or do I have to copy all the files from my parent theme folder to my child theme folder?

I don’t know. I just install a theme editor and I wasn’t able to access my admin path so I think I’ll just stick to editing the files through Dreamweaver haha! Thanks anyway!
