I think I have the issue rectified… But if someone with ESET could go and take a looksee for me I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully it worked and I can take a backup offsite and call it a day.

No I dont use any third party advertising or anything of the sort… just a low key website. I dont understand why anyone would want to put a trojan on it…

Just confirmed on my VM that windows 8’s built in scanner even blocks the site. Im starting to think someone injected something into my db…

Thats the same threat error I get on my buddy’s workstation. Not sure what is going on or what approach I should be taking to fix it!

I was able to restore the site to its full working condition by reverting to a file and db backup from yesterday. Thank god for automated server backups :p.

Id still like to know why this happened and how to prevent it from happening again.. Can anyone shed some light on the topic?
