Be sure that “Use external CSS” is not checked unless you are copy/pasting the CSS into a separate file. Looks like wp_footer() may not be used in this site down before the closing body tag. That will prevent the MaxButtons styling from being output.

Do you have a page with example buttons? You should be able to manually add the maxbutton shortcode to get it in there.

@knitting if the sidebar and footer are not showing it is most likely a PHP error from when you were editing single-maxgallery.php

@monbelle the issue should be fixed. Also, you can select portrait, landscape or square when creating a gallery.

Can you try deactivating/reactivating and seeing if that helps?

If not, go ahead and send a message to [email protected] with your admin credentials and we’ll try creating a test gallery to replicate the issue.

We’re still looking into this issue. What was the previous version you were on 2.5? Knowing that will help us narrow down the issue.

And again to confirm, was the duplicate happening in 2.6 as well or were you not even able to get to the point where the duplicate would show up.

That’s the end of your file. There should be scripts, and at the very least a closing body and html tag.

Yeah, try updating to the latest version, deactivating and reactivating and let me know if that works. Also, do you have a certain number set for maybe your blog index page? The number of posts that will show I mean? I don’t think it would, but if that number is 2 then we’ll know more than we did previously.

Is that if you go back to 2.5 or if you updated to 2.6.1, just want to make sure we know where to pinpoint.

It could be that your landing page plugin doesn’t allow shortcodes in their content. I’d check with them to see if they have any suggestions.

Have you updated to the latest version and do you have a footer that is using wp_footer. That is now where the CSS lies for the buttons as it is more valid markup.

Looks like you have a PHP error somewhere which is not letting the footer wrap itself up. If you view source you’ll see there’s no closing body or html tag.
