So I have just had my web provider place the backup from last night (10/3/22 at midnight). Now I see that the CopyDelete plugin is no longer there, BUT the copies of the pages I made this morning around 11am are still there and causing the same problems? How can this be???

I’m far from an expert in WordPress but those URL’s above are what I see now after I clicked on my menu items and the pages have loaded…
I don’t know what the problem is, so I have asked my hosting provider to replace everything from the last backup from midnight.
I wanted to use the plugin to copy the pages as a backup for each page, but this has somehow upset everything very seriously (for my installation).
I can’t wait to try and figure it all out so I’ve chosen the least painful route with the latest backup. It means I’ll lose 8 hours work but that’s just the way it is..
In any case it’s good to see that you reply promptly to questions here.

I don’t know what you mean by this: “I can see that this post does not exist on your website anymore.”

I have just downloaded the plugin. I see there is reference to copying Yoast SEO data from page/posts. Can/does it also copy data when I use Rank Math?

    I had the same problem..
I was very hopeful that this plugin would do what our non-profit needed. However with the latest versions available (on 15/09/2019) of WordPress and WooCommerce installed this plugin rendered the WooCommerce data input useless. I also don’t have the Gutenburg plugins installed. None of the data fields were selectable and the product data type and price fields were invisible. When I deactivated the Open Ticket for Communities plugin the WooCommerce Product data fields were then visible and selectable again. Reactivated the Open Ticket plugin again and then they were not working again in WooCommerce. Deactivated Open Ticket permanently now.

I’m looking to do the same thing. From what I have read you first have to deactivate the MailChimp plugin and then delete it. Then re-install and choose the new list you want to syncronize.

However looking at all the negative comments so far, I’m not sure I want to do this as is seems to be working at the moment..

I’ve downloaded the Snippit plugin and wanted to make changes to the size of a logo in the header. I’m a relative newbie to WP and working (for free) on the website of a non profit in Beligum (australiannetwork.be) After trying the same code to see the result on my site I realise that what is written above is not transferrable without modifications. I can give you access to the website in progress if you want a look.

Did you ever get some answers somewhere else? Maybe BuddyPress can be your answer..

Thanks for your answer Benoti, however you are getting me lost… I can access the brozzme_navigation_class.php file and looked at line 40. Is it just a case of substituting in my line 40 “get_permalink(get_adjacent_post(false,”,false)” with get_adjacent_post( true, ”, true, ‘taxonomy_slug’ );?
As you may realise I’m new to this coding business….
Using our website: koningenart.com, Could you give me an example for our website if the “previous” and “next” buttons should only show paintings in the same gallery or show paintings with the same “tags”. (At the moment we have deactived your plugin because users were being confused because your buttons were taking them to paintings in other galleries.)
Thanks for your help and we are looking forward to your update soon!

I think this is an excellent plugin. If you take the trouble to look over the documentation you will see what you need to look for in the source code. Sometimes it took me quiet a while to find the correct text domain, but when I did the plugin does its magic really well.

A couple of examples: In the Woocommerce module, I didn’t like the large heading “Product Description” under the tab that was already marked “Description”. So I used this plugin to replace “Product Description” with nothing to make it disappear. Also replaced “Add to cart” with “Make it yours” “Related Products” to “Other suggestions” and other more appropriate text. I use the plugin for an artist’s website which often needs different text compared to a webshop selling mass produced products.
If I was a professional web designer, I’d certainly go to the Pro version to save time, but since the number of plugins we use is limited, it doesn’t take long to find and replace the text strings that need changing.
Thanks a million for this GREAT plugin Lee!

It is certainly very light, but I’ll gladly accept some “weight” for the extra functionality, and I’m sure others will too ??

There is a small problem in the footer of your website. It is showing: “[:en]Thanks for your time.[:de]Danke für Ihre Zeit[:]”

I also notice that once you have chosen a language, there is no obvious way to choose the other language except to type the home URL again.

I hope you have donated to his coffee fund as you said you would!

Hi 123newbie. If you have never unzipped a file you sure are a newbie! You can download the free program 7Zip at https://www.7-zip.org

Once that is installed you can go to your downloaded GeoIP.dat.gz file, right click on it with your mouse (presuming you are using windows) and choose “open with.” This should show you a choice – one of which should be “7Zip File Manager”. Click on that.

You will then see the file in the 7Zip program window. Click on the file (Highlighting it) then choose the “Extract” button which is written in large letters. A window will then open to show where the file will be unzipped to – you can change this to wherever you want. Then go to the directory you chose, and you’ll notice the file no longer has the “.gz” but just GeoIP.dat. It is this file that you need to upload into WP.

Alternatively, you can start the 7Zip program first and choose the menu “File” > “Open” and go to the directory and file you want to unzip, and then do as above. Have fun!
