Hi,
Could you please take a look using the inspect element in your browser? If you happen to spot any 404 errors (file not found) for the image, that would be helpful to know.
If you’re up for it, you might want to consider disabling the Text Mapping and URL Mapping features in Hide My WP > Overview. Sometimes, changes to classes might have affected the frontend.
For a smoother setup, I recommend starting with Hide My WP Ghost’s Lite Mode or Safe Mode along with the predefined paths. Give the website a test run in a different browser or incognito mode. If it’s working fine, then you can gradually activate other features.
Just a heads up, many times, issues might not be directly linked to Hide My WP Ghost. Other plugins could be causing conflicts due to the changes or restrictions set by Hide My WP Ghost.
We’re working on enhancing compatibility with various plugins to minimize such functionality hiccups. Though, it’s tough to cover every possible situation. Your understanding is greatly appreciated!

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Multi site installationHi Ziaur Rahman,
I don’t think you have our plugin installed on your website.
Our plugin doesn’t have the file hide_my_wp/load.php. You can download and fresh install the plugin again and see if you get any errors.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Cloudpanel – NGINX rewrite issueHey,
We’ve tested the plugin with Cloud Panel open source and updated the plugin to work with it.
The new options will be available in the new version of the plugin but you can rollback to the previous version and update the plugin again to get the last changes.
Here is the step-by-step tutorial we made to set up Hide My WP on Cloud Panel websites.

Let me know if it’s working for your website.

Hello there! It seems that if your website’s login has been set up on a custom path by the theme, then Hide My WP Ghost (HMWP) might not work on it. This is because some themes have built-in protection on their logins. However, HMWP was specifically designed to protect the WP login path and the WooCommerce Login, and we have also made sure that it works well with popular user management plugins such as Ultimate Member, MemberPress, and WordPress User Manager.
If you could let us know which theme or plugin you are currently using for your login, we may be able to integrate HMWP Brute Force into it. So, please feel free to share any relevant information with us and we’ll do our best to help you out!

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Asset Cleanup – PROBLEMHi,
Thank you for reaching out. We did have some issues with Asset Cleanup in the past but we noticed that they use the meta ID to identify the CSS and JS.
Try switching off the option
Hide My WP > Tweaks > Hide Options > Hide IDs from META Tagshttps://hidemywpghost.com/kb/activate-security-tweaks/#hide_ids_tags
If the error continues, check with the Asset Cleanup plugin author if there is a specific option that doesn’t work when you have different wp-content path on your website.
Other options you can try:
- Switch ON Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Priority Loading
- Switch ON Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Late Loading
- Switch OFF Hide My WP > Tweaks > Hide Options > Hide Version from Images, CSS and JS in WordPress
Hi Angelysou,
Have you tried with the options?
Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Priority Loading
Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Late Loading
Hope that you’ll find the solution for your website.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Can this plugin stop spam?Hi Vassos,
Recaptcha is a tool that helps to prevent automated bots from filling out forms on a website. Bots can be used to flood forms with spam or malicious content, which can be harmful to the website and its users. By using Recaptcha, website owners can verify that the user filling out the form is a real person and not a bot.
Hide My WP, on the other hand, is a tool that helps to protect websites from attacks by bots and other malicious actors. It can be used to hide certain parts of the website and make it more difficult for bots to identify vulnerabilities and exploit them. However, it is important to note that Hide My WP is not a substitute for Recaptcha, as they serve different purposes.
Thank you for your feedback @angelysou,
First, please check the settings from Ultimate Member for login to have all the paths set correctly like in the image.

Reinstall the last version of the premium plugin and save the settings again in Hide My WP. We updated the compatibility with Ultimate Member.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] wp6.1.1No effect after installationHey,
Can you please tell me what plugin and version did you install? And please send us more details about the issue.
- This reply was modified 1 year, 8 months ago by John Darrel.
Hi Gileno,
Please send me a link to the website so I can check if the new image paths are 404 or if the WP Common paths are not visible.
It also depends on the server type (apache, nginx, litespeed). Redis cache should work okay with HMWP Ghost. Try activating the option Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Priority Loading in case the paths are not changed in the source code.
