In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Broke the websiteHi,
It probably is a conflict. Please address to support where we respond and have a lot of help for cases like yours.
Leaving a negative review is not going to help either of us.
Have you tried to remove the plugin directory? /wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp
Best

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Hackers still finding URLsThe free version changes and hides the admin and login paths as it says. But also it helps you to find out if there are not conflicts between Hide My WP and the current theme you use or other plugins you’ve installed.
The free version doesn’t hide all the paths on your website and if a bot is looking for other patterns it might find out that you are using WordPress.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Hackers still finding URLsHi,
Please change both admin and login paths with personal names.
admin and login paths are used by hacker bots for brut force attacks.
Are you using Hide My Wp PRO? The current free version only hides the admin and login paths to see if the product is compatible with your WordPress.
To hide all the URLs you need to activate the Ninja mode and the plugin will hide all the paths from your website.
We are woking to add more features in the free version as well.

Hey Lucas,
Can you increase the buffer size in the nginx config? It is too low and it may affect your loadin in the future.
Add this in the nginx config file in the http area.
http {
fastcgi_buffers 16 16k;
fastcgi_buffer_size 32k

Best,
JohnLucas,
An upgrade should be available in your MU network plugins.
Please tell me if this patch fixed the logout issue also.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Hide WooCommerce plugin(s)Hi vmalk,
Hide My WordPress hides all the plugins, including woocommerce and the extensions.
You can check the site wpplugins.tips which has woocommerce installed with Hide my Worpdress PRO
Best,
JohnHey Lucas,
It’s strange that multisite didn’t install the wp_blogs table which stays for registering the sites you have in your network.
I will add a patch for that and yes, the logout can come from that error.
I will send you and email asap with the upgrade notice.
Best,
John

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] 502 error when I am using PHP7Hey,
The free version doesn’t work with nginx because usually it needs support and we offer support only in the PRO version.
I thought that you already bought the PRO version.

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] 502 error when I am using PHP7Hi Dahnark,
I noticed that on nginx with PHP7 you get the gateway error. Here is a solution to fix that.

JohnHey,
This is strange. Are you sure is this plugin you’ve installed? Because there is no load.php file in Hide My WP plugin.
Try to deactivate and delete the plugin and reinstall it.
You’ll probably have to set it up again after the install.
Best regards,
JohnHey,
I just got your message … sorry for the delay. I’ll look into it. Seems to be a problem if you don’t add the super admin in your sub-sites. Have you tried that?
Go to the Sites section and edit them. Add the super-admin in those sites as admin.
I will check it myself also and see why you get this message.
Cheers

In reply to: [Hide My WP Ghost - Security & Firewall] Plugin Not Working With WordfenceHey,
This is strange, this error is from a remote test. Hide My WordPress doesn’t restrict remote accesses.
I will look into it and see if the error is because Wordfence is trying to access the old paths.
John
Hey,
To figure our the issue please help me with some answers:
1. Do you use the same user for super user and subsite admin?
2. Have you installed Hide My Wp Pro on single site and moved to WP MU after?
3. Have you changed the admin URL in MU?
4. What message do you receive while trying to connect as super user? You can always contact me on: [email protected]
Regards,
John
