Thank you for the prompt reply. Thank you for the pointer on how to delete the entries.
I look forward to future updates of this excellent plugin.
JohnI’ve been looking for the bit to change the word wrap as well. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Would be nice if this was some sort of option, or if a custom css could be accommodated that wasn’t overwritten after an update.
I also discovered that the day ‘box’ in the calendar month view will grow vertically if necessary. Messes with the proportions a little but at least the even titles are fully readable.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar – dates on widget missingIn the file:
/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/view/agenda-widget.php
try changing the line:
<div class=”ai1ec-day”><?php echo gmstrftime( ‘%e’, $timestamp ) ?></div>
to
<div class=”ai1ec-day”><?php echo gmstrftime( ‘%d’, $timestamp ) ?></div>Cool – makes sense. Looking forward to using the new release.
Excellent! Thank you. I’m very impressed with the plugin (as a new user) and I didn’t want to find an alternative.
btw – being a pedantic sort, isn’t this update 1.0.10?
Will it fix the daylight savings time issue where event times change when the clocks change?
Just been caught out by the same issue. Fortunately it’s a new site so only a couple of entries in the diary.
But, would like to see the developers fix this too.OK! Sorted.
It is indeed a problem with pulling the image from the NextGen gallery. It seems to pull the first image from the gallery rather than the correct one.
If I use an image from the WP media library then it works properly.
Maybe something to look at as an enhancement, but at least I now can get it working correctly.Certainly WP featured image works using an image from a NextGen gallery, but I will experiment some more and see what I find.
Thank you for the prompt support.I have the preference order defined correctly. I will play about some more and see what I can find.
Would it be a problem if the WP-native featured image has come from a NextGen gallery?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: theme/template licence questionThanks for your thoughts.
I think you offer a reasonable compromise and a good guide to the effort implied in a theme becoming one’s own. As you suggest, it may come down to the original designer still seeing it as their design despite changes in the most obvious (from a user perspective) aspects. If a designer has invested heavily in the graphics, that’s the design. If it’s in clever layout tricks and features (as opposed the ‘mere’ appearance) then that’s the design.

In reply to: Events Calendar vs Gigs Calendar vs EC3Kernow,
Thanks for providing this patched version. I’ve tried it and it works fine with one exception. If I use the widget for the calendar (as opposed to the events list) it doesn’t seem to be “AJAX’d” and when I click on the next month I get a 404 error. Is this a known problem or do I need to set something up.
Thanks,
John
