I like Apache also.. MS Azure is a hangover from college.. I am on Azure now and even MS cannot get any health information from the WP web app jmulhall for over 10 mins (default). “We can’t show health data for your Web app
    State
We haven’t received health data from your Web app for 10 minutes.”

The app shows as running but its really not.. Its a MS problem for sure..

Thanks esmi.. ill open a ticket. Will report outcome here as this issue cost me dearly in time and trouble shooting. Hopefully others don’t get lost in trouble shooting this with a pure WP focus approach.

The string query on the direct is as follows: ?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fjmulhall.azurewebsites.net%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
Also, its noteworthy, that I tried the correct password manually and using google chrome passwords. Same result in terms of the redirect page.

Folks, this is now resolved. The lack of connectivity with my site backend is resolved by WordPress. It is either something they corrected with my instance or it was solved in a general update. Either way, thank you WordPress!

If you have a case of entering your user ID and password correctly and it does not connect to your dashboard AND not return any error message. Chances are it will correct itself after opening a query on this forum. I reccomend this course of action (ie. Open a query on this forum and wait a week to see if you have access) V FTPing into the backend and working on the wp.config file. Just one caveat, If you don’t have your home IP whitelisted via Jetpack, connection window on wordpress.com (security) or directly on the wp.config file, then I would recommend you do it straight away so you are not locked out.

One other thing, I have my site whitelisted and connected to my WordPress.com account. It was working normally until today where it shows red and an error message of “site not connected”. I also tried on the wp-login page to “Login via WordPress.com” and nothing, just that redirect with the Login Creds showing on the page like before. Have I being hacked or is there a more innocent explanation for this? If I can admin, the cached site will fall into disrepair and I will have to restart from scratch like I did over a year which is unacceptable! I need to understand why this is happening. Thanks again for any help…
