At this point I have given up on Elementor 3.26.x breaking my sites and am sticking with 3.25.x for as long as I can while looking into alternatives to replace Elementor. It’s unfortunate it has come to this, but if I can’t rely on Elementor working with the rest of my plugins and sites overall, then it is unusable.

I get tired to being asked by support to spend hours to break my sites so they can troubleshoot. I don’t have the time and have lost all patience with Elementor and support.

No, other plug-ins are NOT at fault here. Elementor cannot hold every other Plug-in hostage and claim everything else is incompatible when those other plug-ins worked before the Elementor update. Elementor needs to work within the WordPress ecosystem and not attempt to dictate how other plug-ins may or may not function. Elementor doesn’t own the ecosystem. Stop pushing the blame on every other plug-in, stop delaying support, stop asking the same redundant questions and fix your own compatibility issues. Otherwise, Elementor is no longer a viable option in this space and users should look elsewhere for alternatives. When we have issues, it is typically due to Elementor, not other plug-ins. That’s the real problem here.

The “solution” was to revert to 3.25.11 and Pro 3.25.5 and TURN OFF Elementor updates. Version 3.26.x is broken and does not work on our sites. You can blame all the other plugins, but our sites worked fine until Elementor updated to version 3.26.0 and our sites work as intended NOT USING version 3.26.x. Extensive troubleshooting and wasting my time isn’t necessary – it is CLEAR what isn’t working.

#1: Emails are being triggered now. We reduced the time out value to 5 minutes and wait time to 1 minute and that allowed the trigger to engage. That said, now the FIRST NAME [fname] and LAST NAME [lname] variables do not work for new registration emails. They work for manual, one-time emails, but not for those generated by an Event. We have switched to using [username] and [email] to compensate.

#2: We will have to set up debugging and try rebuilding lists. For now, close this ticket. We will open again if needed.

    Thank you!

Hi, Joe. Thank you for your response. The plugin is quite good, but creation of recurring events is rather fundamental to the functionality of a calendar. I hope that additional options for recurring events based on day of the week will be considered for a future enhancement. Regards.
