Thank you for your quick reply! I had already gone through the steps, but I mistook the instructions.

When I disabled the “Static CSS File Generation” in the Builder tab, the Clear (cache) button vanished. I re-enabled it so I could press the Clear button, but then didn’t go back and disable the “Static CSS File Generation” feature afterwards. I seem to need close hand-holding.

This time I cleared the cache first and *then* disabled the feature, saved it, and it RESOLVED the issue! The black padlock is restored. Amazing, thank you!

I appreciate your help and the Divi documentation. No idea why Divi chose to make the Clear button disappear upon the feature’s disablement—it’s irksome software I fight with much of the time—but you solved the problem. Offering guidance for other software is going above and beyond!

Now if I can just get the thumbnails to work consistently … like they did, once upon a time …

The updated version WORKED, thank you. Now the page comes up and the feeds are showing. I also removed the invalid feed and will test the others.

One flaw is that the default image isn’t showing up for a few items, just a blank square where it should be. This behavior may be unrelated … if so, I’ll start another request and let this issue be marked as resolved.

It was a shock to have the live site vanish, but thank you for your consideration in resolving it!

THIS WAS NEVER RESOLVED … don’t know why it’s marked as resolved.

Now it’s been 3 months and the issue is the same. Others have posted the identical issue. You can’t display Google’s RSS, it’s an issue.

Can you please give an update?

Same problem. Have a support ticket on this, still open. Months.

Nice plugin, I gave it a 5-review–but now it’s also an RSS reader that can’t work with the world’s largest RSS provider. Other updates are more pressing, as it happens.

On the other hand, Google. So who knows what.

You’re throwing around insults pretty good. The “pencil-necks” that thought up Gutenberg are the same folks who gave you this Classic plugin.

I don’t like the forced changes that tech peeps are exploiting people with: it feels like betrayal, especially in the face of truly community-killing problems like the long-drawn-out corporatist takedown of net neutrality through malfeasance, deception and bribery. I hate having to spend time, money and sanity on SSL due to serial betrayal of the commons–ie, falsely showing safe sites as unsafe to advance a private agenda. I hate a lot of what commercialism has done to divide and decay WP’s ethos and the so-called community. I don’t like to think of their next move.

But the stupidity at railing at people you are ALSO personally thanking and equating with God is so bizarre it just needed a long rambly comment in return. You’re welcome!

Thank you, but the update did not help with the thumbnails. It actually removed the few feed streams that had images. Now there are none that show thumbnails.

Is there another update planned, or is this the end of showing Google feeds? It’s a great plugin except for not having thumbnails lately. Appreciate your help!
