I am getting hammered as well by registration spam, tinkered with all the options but no luck?

Suggestions?

That was not 100% clear or a brain fart on my part but did not work with a older themes no matter what I tried, it did work if I hand code the short codes, but this did not allow for all the options that the NextGen offered

Since I ditched my old theme and upgraded to 3.8 compatible theme my site both dev and product are working fine now…

I gotten mine to work it seems some themes work and some do not, I found my theme I was running on my production site had an old, no longer supported/3.8 non-compatible. I changed to “Twenty Twelve” theme and it works for me know. (https://www.sluder.net)

I changed my local MAMP set up to use (https://www.sluder.net) as well and it works.

I am sure this is an easy fix since it can be easy reproduced

This happens both on my production as well dev sites…

With a clean base install of WP & NextGen + NextGen Pro all the same

I can hand code

none of the GUI work and to get the same look as “demo” I need to buy another template, a little more truth would be good.
