My theme supplier instructed me to remove the “Remove jQuery Migrate” tick from the settings and now is working OK. It looks like jQuery Migrate is needed to solve this problem.

Before checking if Elementor is conflicting (checking for conflicts requires site not working for x minutes or hours) I would like to ask where to get old files of
/assets/js/flexslider/jquery.flexslider.js
/assets/js/flexslider/jquery.flexslider.min.js
to change them.

Your provided solution worked for me on one Cloudways app, but did not work for me on second Cloudways app.
Number of times resetting permission and saving did not work (did 4 times).
Finally it was solved by uninstalling Breeze plugin and installing it again.

Can you please explain how to change the flag according to instructions “1. Replace Default Flags — directly from the Advanced tab” on above mentioned page https://translatepress.com/docs/developers/replace-default-flags/ ?
I have tried to follow #1 instructions and put in existing language data for “English (United States)” (same name, same ISO, same slug), but only created additional language with same name, so now I have 2 languages “English (United States)”.

I solved this problem by FTPing and changing the name of the flag files as needed.
In your case you would name the flag you want to use with de_CH.png
All flags are in the folder:
…/wp-content/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/assets/images/flags/
