UPDATE: I discovered it was some sort of conflict with the Alexa extension on my Chrome browser. Disabling that extension caused everything to display correctly. Again, my apologies, the timing was unbelievable. It occurred right after installing AO so I believed (strongly) that was the issue. My apologies. GREAT plug-in, I love it, it really sped up my site!

That fixes the body of the page and the headings (thank you!) but fonts in other areas of the page (like the menus, widget titles, etc) are still messed up.

I have created a support ticket with the maker of my theme (WPZOOM). I very much appreciate your help. Even when it became clear it wasn’t AO’s fault! ??

I tried the code you suggested although I modified it to say body{font-family:'Libre Franklin'!important;} since libre franklin is the font that should be displayed (not serif). Still having the same issue though.

The funny thing is when I “inspect” the page from my laptop and uncheck the style.css call to the font family that says font-family: 'Libre Franklin', serif;, it all goes back to looking like it should (meaning it starts displaying the libre franklin font on the page and not the serif font anymore… which is what I want). Again this is only on my laptop for some reason. Desktop and mobile (and your screen) all displayed the Libre Franklin font as it should. So weird!

I agree, it’s sounding like it may not be related to AO. My apologies. Although my issue is still unresolved, you’re off the hook I suppose and hopefully, I’ll be able to find a solution elsewhere! ??

I tried both of those and it didn’t make a difference. I also completely uninstalled AO from my installed plug-ins and there’s still no difference (cleared cache both on my site and on my computer of course).

Now I’m really confused! When I inspect the element again it still has those font families listed with that checkbox that I can un-tick to make it all go back to normal. But it no longer says it’s pulling it from autoptimize css… it now just shows my normal theme’s style sheet CSS as the source. I’m really confused.

Are you able to provide any helpful insight here?

Thank you for your reply. It looks like the font is correct on your screen. It’s also correct on my mobile phone and on my desktop computer. On my laptop however, it’s different (unless I go into Incognito mode on chrome… then it’s correct).

Not sure why this is, it just started after installing AO.

Here are screenshots showing the difference between how normal google chrome sees the page fonts and incognito mode on my screen (I’m showing you one of my posts in the screenshot as the difference is more apparent there vs. my home page):

    Normal Google Chrome (incorrect fonts):

    Incognito Mode (correct fonts):

Here is one thing I noticed while inspecting the elements inside normal google chrome where the fonts were being displayed incorrectly:

Then I can temporarily get it back to displaying the correct fonts by unticking THIS box:

    Any thoughts?

    Hi iLen,
No the issue is not resolved. Here is what I have discovered so far:

When I set the widget’s interval to “24 hours” or “48 hours” it will display 10 posts despite the “Number Post” option being set to 3.

When I set the interval to “Last week” no posts are displayed.

When I set the interval to “Last month” or “Last Year” then it displays 3 posts.

When I set the interval to “All along” it displays 1 post.

Why is the plugin behaving this way?

Thank you so much Hector! That did the trick! I have been stuck on that for awhile!

To clarify, this is on a single page (not a blog post) where the side widgets are removed. It seems to make the youtube video as big as possible and now that the widgets on the side are gone, it’s huge. I’ve tried about 5 different methods in the code now to restrain the width/height from other posts online offering a solution and nothing seems to work.
