OK, it looks like it’s not rare you find such issue, then, what’s the ideal way to transfer to new server? (without compromising for big downtime)
BTW, it’s nothing to do with WordPressMU Domain Mapping plugin, right?

It looks like I cannot change the Domain name once I enable Network.
Dashboard>Settings>General> I dont see “WordPress address (URL)” & “site address (URL)”

Any work-around there?

Like the “update service” gets disabled for Multi-site but there’s a plugin to activate it.. is there any way out to change the domain name here?

I think it should ideally create all languages folders in plugin/google-sitemap-generator/
at least it has formed /wp-content/gt-cache/ folder. But no addition in XML generator ??

resolved the issue by myself.
I had access to WordPress installation wizard, on my hosting acct. so changed my location and domain name & moved all my files.

It’s possible, but your PR may hamper.
The post is 5 months old I wonder if you still need help.

Actually I had to ‘insert the media files’ instead I typed url. & it worked. I shouldn’t have been that way. but thats the way it is, you have to insert a media file and then you’ll get option of posting ‘link file’ or ‘link post’ If you select former file will start downloading directly. & for the latter you’ll see file description page.

You dont have to create multiple wordpress databases just for having different theme for different categories.
For beginners it may be difficult as it involves some coding.
You need to have different CSS stylesheet files and have to make no. of category template files and address respective css files.

any help?

where in WP has permissions settings?

I changed uploads folder location from “/wp-content/uploads/” to simply “/uploads”

The files can be downloaded if you type domain.com/uploads/ but thats not the proper way. it should show ‘post theme’ of wp.
