Tears, that may work from the perspective of a developer… but a lot of WordPress sites are handed off to clients who do not want (nor know how) to touch core files.

Tears, what happens when you update WordPress? Won’t that file get overwritten?

Hey I like the shadowing and slider. Maybe the shadowing can be applied to the header as well? The white text on the white background is impossible to see. Is this for SEO? May want to margin-left:-20000px or something. Also the navigation font is really small and hard to see at first.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes a lot of sense. I’ve renamed the blog entry and removed the responsive design bit. Maybe I’ll have a take two next week where I really try something more responsive. ??
