In reply to: TinyMCE AccordionThanks for the reply. That sounds like it could be a much better solution. It’s beyond my capabilities and understanding to implement though. But I’m willing to spend the time learning, if you can point me in the right direction or help get me started. How would I go about setting something like this up?

In reply to: [Facebook] Can't add to Facebook PageThis is what I thought. So, if I create the app through my personal account, how do I link it with the fan page, so that our wordpress content is published on the fan page and not on my personal profile?

In reply to: [Facebook] Can't add to Facebook PageMatt, I have a website and have established a facebook page for it. How do I go about creating an app using the facebook page? Do I need to do it through my personal FB account (which is not linked to the website in any way)? How are we meant to get around this?
A little guidance here would be much appreciated.
Jon

In reply to: Hide menu and sidebar text from search engines?Problem is, I don’t really understand if this is a solution, so am hesitant to apply it. My main question is:
Does this ‘nofollow’ just the navigation menu or also the pages they link to?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Hide menu and sidebar text from search engines?I found this today. Can anyone let me know if this is what I need?
Nofollow WordPress Category Navigation
Initially, I looked for a plugin that would add “nofollow” to all of the category links in my website’s navigation bar automatically. It turns out that WordPress already has this ability if you’re using custom menus.Open the Menus screen under the Appearance heading of the WordPress admin menu.
Click the tab for the menu you want to edit.
Click the Screen Options tab at the top of the page and select the Link Relationship (XFN) check box.
Close the Screen Options tab. Each time you click the arrow on the right side of a menu option, you’ll now see a field titled Link Relationship (XFN).
Type nofollow in the Link Relationship (XFN) field for each link to which you want to add the “nofollow” attribute.
Click the Save Menu button when you are finished. Here‘s the full article.

In reply to: Hide menu and sidebar text from search engines?3. In search results, only a few words relevant to your search (keywords/ phrases you searched) will be shown. But if you click on those links, you can see the entire page/ post.
This is where I have the problem. Here‘s a search result example. So long as google is treating my navigation menu as part of each page, every single page contains the word ‘karma’, because it’s in the navigation menu. So, the ‘words relevant to my search’ are found everywhere – not a very valuable search.
Sorry for being so dense, but I don’t see other sites having this issue, so there must be some kind of solution…
Thanks for your patience.

In reply to: Hide menu and sidebar text from search engines?Hmm… ok.
What about the main navigation menu? Is it the same situation? The part I don’t understand is that when I search other sites I never see the navigation menu in the results text. So there must be some way of having it not show up…??

In reply to: how to hide menu and posts from google search botI’m having the same problem and have just started looking for answers. Have you figured this out at all?
Here’s what I see when I search using google, for our newly out of the box website: Search Results Example
Really wanting to figure out how to hide the main menu from Google.
Charles, do I need to enter this differently in the CSS for the sidebar widget?
I’m trying to horizontally center the player in the sidebar. Any help would be appreciated.Ok, figured it out, at least for my issue. Turns out it was just a matter of the videos/playlists on youtube being set to both “public” and “allow others to embed”.
I just installed this plugin and found the same problem. Anyone know what’s up, or how to remedy this?
