In reply to: [Easy Forms for Mailchimp] Selector for Placeholder Text?– I can center it and change the font size, but not the color – with input#yikes-easy-mc-form-1-EMAIL
Given the site’s history of having been hacked with a URL injection, when I saw all these ‘invisible’ urls in an export (“List URLS” plugin), I jumped to a conclusion.
It was a simply a matter of the Event list view filter in WP Admin.
My bad.
@benoitroubert With my apologies, I need to correct my feedback about your js fix. It does indeed work flawlessly –
I am indeed getting the “message sent successfully” message in my popup – my inability to see it was because of browser view zoom (user error!). It is indeed working –
thank you for the fix.It works, in that the message goes through (as it did before) – I get the spinning cursor, then a little blink when the message goes…
But, it prevents the courtesy behaviors: “message delivered”, and closing the popup – in all browsers.
I think both of those might be js from the plugin getting choked off by this solution somehowTHANK YOU, sir. I’ll give it a shot and report back.
@benoitroubert That sounds promising – I must apologize for my ignorance about this – where do I put the code you’ve created? Also in
functions.php

The more Apple hears about this, the sooner we get a solution

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] No confirmation message on SafariPlease report this to Apple – the more bug reports, the sooner the fix.
https://www.apple.com/feedback/safari.htmlIt’s a shame to lose the “message sent successfully” feedback. The behavior feels abrupt everywhere now – but at least the form works. If anybody has a modification that permits the feedback part of the js to work, that would be an awesome thing to see.
This allows the message to go through without an attachment – but without the little courtesy “message sent successfully” message…
I’ve got the form in a popup, and it looks like the popup just crashes.
I get the message, though… it’s a good fallback procedure if people don’t read my Safari disclaimer

In reply to: [Slick Popup: Contact Form 7 Popup Plugin] Form not sending in Safari nowAnd this in the CF7 support thread. This is not a Slick Popup issue – rather, a Safari 11.1 quirk, and now a known issue.
I have this issue as well. I will need to modify my form text until it’s resolved.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 Circle Spins, No errors Posted on SafariThis is a genuine issue with Safari 11.1.
See this thread on Stack Overflow:
CF7 Fails when file attachement function is in the form, but no file is submitted
My form has file attachment functionality implemented, and fails when no file attachment is present, in Safari 11.1 only.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Slick Popup: Contact Form 7 Popup Plugin] Form not sending in Safari nowThere’s a thread about this in Stack Overflow –
Stack Overflow CF7 no-attachment fail in Safari
this issue is apparently a result of having file attachment functionality in the CF7 Form.
The fail occurs if there’s no attachment, and only in Safari.
