In reply to: [Auto Post Scheduler] Sticky Posts Don’t Stick???Thanks for pointing that out johnh10. I do have those posts in the genesis featured post widget, and that plugin does not do show sticky posts when featuring a specific category. Thanks for your help.
Hi Trav,
this is helpful info. But can you tell me what “role” Paid Membership Pro uses as the default role with a new member? I want to redirect my users on login with the Theme My Login plugin, but I’m not sure what role to use in the redirect settings.
In my installation, besides the normal wordpress roles (Admin, Editor, Author, Contributor, Subscriber), I also have “Customer”, “Shop Manager”, and “Client”. I think some of those came from other plugins, but I’m not sure. One of my three current members (in the Paid Memberships Pro members list) has the role of “subscriber” but the other two have “no role for this site” listed in the user settings.
Which role settings in PMP should I put the redirect url into.
Thanks for your help.
Jon
Here is what I did:
1. To fix the date/timezone issue, I just created a new calendar in the calendars menu with the same settings as my old ones. Change the colors to match your theme in this screen.
2. Get the new shortcode for the new calendar you created and paste them into the page where you display your calendar in place of the old short code.
3. Adjust your styles.css file to tweek any background colors. I deleted all my old gce styles and only had to make new styles for the background of the day headings in grid view and the background of the hover on days. You can see it at https://www.ucachurch.org and see the CSS by looking at the source code in your browser.
I really like the new look they have in the grid view.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Hover CSS style grid viewI added this CSS code to my child theme style sheet:
.qtip-content {
position: relative;
padding: 0px 0px !important;
overflow: hidden;
text-align: left;
word-wrap: break-word;
font-size: 1.4em !important;
}Apparently they added “.qtip-content” since last upgrade. This code got rid of the yellow border for me and also enlarged the shrunken font size. Not sure if this is the right thing to do, but it seems to be working for me right now.

In reply to: Change image based on screen size – twenty twelveHi Adrian, I appreciate your response. Can you point me in the right direction to learn how to create a Jquery script?

In reply to: twentytwelve child theme responsive headerBatharoy, how do you do that? I’m not a coder, so your explaination makes sense, but could you give some example code that I can modify to work on my site? My need is a little different that atlcr but really similar. I want to show a different image on the smaller screens, not a logo.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Responsive Theme – Full Width Meteor (Home Page)Hi Josh, I’m using the responsive theme and I have it working across the full width of the page. The problem I’m having is that it is not scaling down to the size of my iPhone screen. I just updated my installation of wordpress. Does that have anything to do with it? https://www.pinecreekdesign.com
