In reply to: Super Slow Loading Site – Please AnalyzeI think it was Google Analytics, because I took it off and it’s going faster.

In reply to: Super Slow Loading Site – Please AnalyzeAt one point I removed all plugins that rely on external websites….the speed improved by 33% roughly (based on tests).
I have just removed the tag cloud for testing purposes, and it is still mind-numbingly slow.
Also, I noticed my navigating of the WordPress back-end is very slow as well. Is there something wrong with my WordPress installation possibly?

In reply to: I broke my RSS feedI guess what I should be asking is, in which PHP file can I safely put HTML so as not to break the RSS? index.php? wp-blog-header.php? Because when I delete all my additional HTML from all of the PHP files, RSS works fine. But somehow, someway, HTML throws off the RSS.

In reply to: H2 Alignment issues depending on browserCan anyone help me with the H2 thing? It appears that the H2’s appearance is relative to the links that are above it (well, only in IE of course. It’s fine in Firefox)

In reply to: H2 Alignment issues depending on browserThe first head and body are created by me, the second one that you see is wordpress generated.
Mines serves the purpose of displaying a favicon and having a fixed bg.
If I knew how to edit the wordpress generated header and body (for the purpose of having a favicon and fixed background for the entire page, not the wordpress), then I would glady remove my header and body. As it stands, the only way I know how to do this is within my php/html framework.

In reply to: H2 Alignment issues depending on browserThat didn’t work. The problem is going to have a weird fix to it, because as I mentioned, it works perfectly in all other browsers but IE. I will have to include some weird code to suit IE’s weird needs.
