Did you record what exception message you received when you tried on live site please?

The main requirements of the plugin are the CURL and JSON PHP extensions which you may have installed on your localhost but not on your live site?

Have also improved logic around PHP locale in the latest version.

I have added a v0.4 which includes a fbLocale attribute. This currently defaults to Europe/London but you could also use Europe/Amsterdam or any other valid PHP timezone.
