In reply to: Custom post background not working on posts pageThanks esmi,
So you think this is causing the problem with the background and why there may be some cross browser discrepancies?
Also It only displays one post at a time instead of a list..?
Everything seems ok throughout, it’s just with the posts page there’s a problem..Jonny.

In reply to: Header font different to body?So do you assign different fonts to different sections of the stylesheet? Or is it just a general selection for the whole site?
Cheers.

In reply to: Sidebar in wrong place – template changing in browsersHi, thanks for this,
This may be a stupid question, but once I’ve found the errors where am I amending them, is it in my style sheet? The code doesn’t mirror that listed in source…
Cheers, Jonny.

In reply to: template changes dramatically between browsersHi, Thanks for all your useful tips! That addon was extremely useful.
I’ve made some of the changes as advised, but still having problems, I ran a test on browser shots and most are coming up fine. But IE isn’t!
Is there something silly/obvious I’m doing wrong?

I thought about switching themes, but seems a shame as i’m so close!
Thanks Again, Jonny.

In reply to: empty sidebarGo into your sidebar php, either subtract it from your theme folder in your ftp or edit through the wordpress dashboard. I usually just extract any code relating to the elements listed in current sidebar theme.
Not sure it’s the best way, but seems to do the job!

In reply to: template changes dramatically between browsersThanks old bag, it’s driving me crazy! every time I think I’m getting somewhere..
not seen Browser Shots before either…very useful.
What’s the best way to tidy all the faults up? Should I extract code amend in dreamweaver, test, then re-enter into style sheet?
Cheers, Jonny

In reply to: template changes dramatically between browsersHi Samboll, Thanks for speedy response.
I’m fairly new to this, should I follow this and correct all as suggested? I’m learning as I go along and not heard of Validator before. I understand CSS quite well but still in a trial and error stage.
Are you saying that by following these error reports the problem (and others) should be resolved?
Thanks for speedy reponse
