In reply to: [AutomatePlug - Mautic for WordPress] Sync WordPress details to MauticOK, thanks Rahul
Hi Rahul.
I’m using the WPLMS wordpress theme, I think this theme uses a buddypress form to register WP users.

Any plans on adding the feature to only add specific user roles? or ignore pending users?

In reply to: [AutomatePlug - Mautic for WordPress] Authentication issueThanks Rahul,
I’m not worried about attackers, just want to set and forget get without needing to keep re-adding the API
1.) Do you know there are any plans to make it work with OAuth 1 API in the future? 2.) if not is there is any other way to simply get it to work forever?
I’d be nice to at least have the option.
Cheers mate

In reply to: [AutomatePlug - Mautic for WordPress] Authentication issueHi,
From what I’ve heard OAuth 2 will stop working after X days (depending on your settings), were as OAuth 1 works forever.
I changed the Access token lifetime (in minutes) to 0 and Refresh token lifetime (in days) to 0 in the mautic API settings, I then registered a WP account (after waiting over 2 minutes) and it synced the WP user to Mautic.
1.) With the OAuth 2 settings set to 0, Do you know if the OAuth 2 API will last forever?
Reason I ask is that I don’t want to have to worry about the WP user and Mautic sync API to stop working in the future.
Cheers ??

In reply to: [SparkPost] SMTP Method (Port 587 and Port 2525) does not workI can’t join, I don’t have a @sparkpost.com email

In reply to: [SparkPost] SMTP Method (Port 587 and Port 2525) does not workThanks for your reply,
in Admin > settings > Sparkpost the “From email” is [email protected]
I have verified the domain by SPF, DKIM and Email. I have also copied and pasted the domain into the Sparkpost plugin From email field to avoid any typing mistakes but I’m still getting the same error.
1.) Do you want me to email you my WP admin login?
2.) Any more suggestion?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SparkPost] SMTP Method (Port 587 and Port 2525) does not workSMTP did not work because your server’s firewall is blocking outgoing connection of port 587 and 2525.
I think I’ve got the same problem,
I’ve tried all 3 methods, port 587, 2525 and HTTP API and the send via
SMTP permission is enabled.I have also installed another SMTP plugin called “WP Mail SMTP” with the
settings here
https://support.sparkpost.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1988470-smtp-connection-problems
but this other plugin also does not work. So maybe it might be my
settings in wordpress, sparkpost or firewall.I’ve got hostgator shared hosting and the sparkpost plugin intsalled.
1.) Do you know how I can fix this so the sparkpost plugin works with
wordpress?2.) How do I change the firewall so its not blocking port 587 and 2525 (sorry I’m a noobie)?
Here is a screenshot of the error: https://screencast.com/t/9gkgoEC9m
