Hello,
Thanks for choosing EM. You’re looking to display events from a specific category correct? I believe the following is good way to accomplish this:
Try something like this, where 123 is the category ID of the category you want to show:
[events_list category=”123″]
If this does not work out for you, please don’t hesitate to let me know and we will keep working this out.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Site MigrationHello,
When it comes to WordPress migrations of any sort I rely on the plugin, All-In-One WP Migration. It’s a simple and effective way way of exporting your entire WP install an importing it back one you have your new environment set up.
Hello,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, hopefully we can get this figured out so that map can load and patients will know how to find you.
First, may I ask which version of EM or you currently using?
Sure, I can help you get those things found:
To find the version number from the dashboard go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
From there find Events Manager and on the second line under the description you should see the version number. Please let me know what that is.
To change the theme go to Appearance > Themes.
From there hover over TwentySeventeen and click the activate button.
When the new theme is activated attempt to create a booking again.
Hello,
Without a link to actually see and inspect the page in question it would be pretty tough to walk you through the css. Perhaps a more experience designer or developer local to you would be able to help?
Great! I’m glad you were able to get the error logs showing. Whew, that’s a lot to take in but I’m confident we can get this figured out, even if I have to pick one of the devs brain on this one. I should have asked sooner, but which version of EM are you currently running?
Also, have you attempted to run a booking from within the default theme as suggested above? It would also be helpful if you do in fact disable other active plugins, as it helps rule out that potential conflict source as well. If you’re not comfortable doing so I understand, but it very well could be the source of the issue and we’re missing it unless we try.
Try that and get me the version number. Again, this may require dev input. I truly appreciate your patience.
Hello again,
I checked with the dev a simple way of reverting is manually or by deleting and reinstalling .Provided you don’t click uninstall it won’t delete any data.
Rolling back the plugins is not usually recommended, we normally suggest fixing any issues that have come up with newer versions.
Meantime, I’ve asked someone from the Dev team to confirm the best way to roll back the plugins if you still want to do that.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Bookings DB vs WPHi,
I’m glad you are a fan of the plugin and the provided support. Hopefully we can get your concern resolved so you can get back up and running.
Unfortunately, I’m having a little trouble understanding the goal you would like to accomplish. Could you please be a little more clear with what you are trying to accomplish? Is it to just have the attendee name show for users, events, and bookings?
Hello Again,
No I’m not the developer of the plugin, just a support member trying to lend a hand in the issue where I can. It would be helpful to know if any changes were made, but in the mean time you can in fact find out more via the error logs.
Please see the following for more info on displaying your WP error log:
https://snapcreek.com/blog/wordpress-error-log-friend/Depending on what that shows it may lead us to further troubleshooting steps. Also, as suggested buy Angelo above, please try to revert back to the original theme to see if the problem alleviates itself.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Managing AttendanceOkay my friend, I checked this with the devs and unfortunately this feature is not possible at the moment.
Although, through topics and inquiries like yours, its something that may very well be implemented in a future update down the road.
Hello,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this hiccup on with the plugin. It’s seems you’ve taken some good measures to troubleshoot thus far, so hopefully by working together we can get to a solution sooner and get those bookings coming in.
I checked the link you posted and I see exactly what you mean. I’m not seeing any console errors. Let me ask, has this been occurring since you first set the page/site up or is this a new issue? Is there anything specific that you can pinpoint that may have changed recently?

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Private event issueHello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into this issue. Hopefully we can work together to get this solved, and make sure those private events are in fact private.
First, would you be so kind as to provide a link to the page/site in question so that we can inspect it further? Also, have you noticed any console errors being thrown at all?

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Managing AttendanceHello,
Thanks for using EM. This sounds like a pretty cool, and useful feature you’re attempting to build here. Unfortunately, I’m not sure immediately if this is something that can easily be accommodated. Please allow me a bit of time to check with a dev and see for sure.
Apologies for my delay in the answer sir. May I ask are you using the free EM or EMPro?
