I’ve visited your forum but it seems the plugin is disabled, because I can’t see the like button.
If you enable the plugin and click on the button nothing happens? Have you checked if firebug/chrome inspector throws any javascript error?

Unfortunately the plugin is not made for rating, only for ‘liking’ (like Favourite button on WordPress plugins).
I don’t know if the plugin will evolve into a rating system. The time will tell
