Update:
My email provider states that there is no restriction on the wordpress mail servers. Other users get emails from them, but they can’t see any attempted delivery for my account.
I’ve retried changing my email address, but there is still no confirmation email incoming. At the top of the profile page it states (as always):
There is a pending email address change to <<my name (hidden)>>@tutanota.com
I’ve asked the [email protected], if they can verfiy that an email was sent around the time of the change. And now I’m waiting for an answer once again.

Are you asking about your login *here for the forums* or, by “www.ads-software.com”, do you mean the login on your own website?

In the meantime $query->set( 'posts_per_page', 9999 ) works just fine.

I think it’s usermeta.

But I’m not sure what you meant with “install this plugin to your WP account and activate it” in the last paragraph. Can you provide further steps how to do this and why it fixes the issue for now?
