In reply to: Pulling WP Data from many sites to one data warehouseHi Ross,
“I will let you in upon a secret.
The WordPress data is already in a database, plugins and templates have full access.”What we are proposing to do is to build a data warehouse where people who have wordpress can subscribe to our data warehouse service and send their wordpress data into the DW in order to be able to more easily query their data.
Also, most companies that use wordpress have many other computer systems and our service will enable them to integrate their WP data with the data from these other systems.
The way in which WP stores its data does not lend itself to analytics very well…especially not integration to other data and analystics with that other data.

Hi Cory,
thanks for your reply. I am sorry the email notification went to my spam folder even though I have had others that have not.Where do I create a support thread? I thought this was all that was available. I am not that experienced in WP.
I can send you the installer.php file if you want. The rasberry machine is, apparently, a small linux machine on a credit card sized board. I have never heard of them and this is the first time we are trying to put a WP site on such a machine. So there are plenty of “unknowns” going on this time.
I have used duplicator on a number of sites and it has worked well. The only other trouble I am having is with Everleap (hoster in the US) and it fails with a 502 which is IIS server complaining. We have not been able to sort that out yet.
Best Regards

In reply to: [Custom Community] Right Sidebar not showing upOk Guys,
I found out what the problem was.#1. You have to actually VIEW a page with a sidebar on it before it will turn up in the widget area. Also, the archive layout has to be set to right sidebar for these three themes for some reason. This is even though it is not set that way on the two sites that work.
But at least now I have all 5 sites acting like I want them to act. Cool!
Thanks and best regards
Joschua.
In case this helped anyone else.
The way I did this was I put the widget in the right hand side bar at the top and it works just fine.
You can see an example on this site now.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress 3.9.2 is available! Please update now.Hi Tara,
Ok..I will give that a try. I notice that the three live sites I have on hosting services are being automatically updated. But these one on my localhost dev server get this message. The userid is an admins and all authorisations must be there. So my guess is that there is some authorisation that the autoupdate is looking for that is not there.I think it is rather dangerous that WP automatically updates my live sites. I might turn that off in the future.
Thank you for your reply.
Best Regards
Joschua.
