In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] Unable to change social button linkHello,
The plugin has no setup options for social media links. Are you sure this is related to the plugin? How are you trying to change them? If I can, I will try to help.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] RedirectWell, no, that is not possible with this plugin.
However, you can choose to show any page on your site to visitors. If that page has a redirection (there are plugins for that) they will be redirected.
Not the most elegant way to do it (users will be redirected twice) but it can work.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] A really good attemptExcellent!
I really don’t think the multisite setup is affecting the plugin. I personally use it in some multisite installs.
If you have the time, I would really appreciate you getting back and posting what the problem was so I can try to fix any compatibility issues.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] A really good attemptThank YOU for trying the plugin and taking the time to review it. However, I am a bit surprised about your comments. The features you describe as missing are part of the plugin and they are working correctly in all my tests. I will be happy to help you find any issues that prevent the plugin to work as it should.
First. The settings page should look like this:
https://ps.w.org/coming-soon-for-genesis/assets/screenshot-2.png?rev=1526511
If it doesn’t, we probably have some compatibility issues. Please deactivate all other plugins and activate the Genesis Sample Child Theme. If that fixes the problem, we would need to check which plugin is blocking the settings page.
Once the settings page looks like the image above, we can start setting up the plugin. Please try it without any additional plugins activated.Page to Show:
Selecting a page here, will show THAT page to every visitor. It will include the header, footer, sidebars, etc. You can create a Template Page in you theme and hide the header, footer, and any other parts you don’t want the visitors to see. The plugin will not change that page, but only redirect any visitor to it.
Unless you have some special instructions on your HTACCESS file or some kind of redirection plugin installed, this should work fine.
For the rest of the settings to work, you must select Coming Soon Settings Below.
Content:
The next section has three fields; Logo, Headline and Message. The Message field is where you can put any text you want to show on you Coming Soon Page. You can even put JavaScript there. I have pasted code from MailChimp and GetResponse to include a Sign-Up Form (with some extra CSS).
If you can’t see the Message field or if the editor is not working, make sure you have the latest version of the plugin installed. We did have a problem with the editor in one of our first releases, but it was fix at that time.
IMPORTANT
Be aware that the plugin calls your theme’s functions.php file and any other CSS or JS you use in you theme. There have been times where the styles.css file affects the Coming Soon page, especially when using CSS for all elements (H1, P, IMG). Make sure this is not happening to you.I hope this helps, but feel free to contact me again if you keep having problems. Unfortunately, I can’t do more unless I have access to your site.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] My shortcode wont load to capture email addressesHello,
Thank you for using the plugin. You are right, the content was not executing the shortcodes, which is why you would see the [shortcode] text instead of the correct output. I have just uploaded a new version of the plugin, please update it in your website. The shortcodes should show correctly this time.
Let me know if you have any other issues.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] Mobile View of default not ResponsiveHello,
Thank you for letting me know about this. Unfortunately I don’t own an iPhone 5S, so I can not test this personally. However, all the tests I ran at BrowserStack show no problems at all in any of the two versions you are using (I noticed you had a different image earlier today). I asked a couple of friend to test your website on their iPhones and all looked good too. If you can send me a screen showing the problem, that might help me find the issue.
On the other hand, since the plugin uses the Genesis Framework functions, some of the CSS you use in your own theme might be affecting the coming soon page. Also, since it is impossible to disable every hook and filter, please make sure you specify which actions to disable in the “Custom Functions” options on the plugins settings page, specially those that add or modify HTML and CSS to your website.
I am sorry I can not do more for now. I will keep looking for ways to make this plugin better. Thanks again for trying it.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] Plugin seems to prevent access to back-end PublishHello,
Thank you for using the plugin. You were right, there was a conflict with the HTML editor that blocked those options. I fixed it and uploaded a new version to fix this issue.
I will mark this as resolved, but feel free to contact me again if you find any other problem.

In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] Some Plugin Bugs or SuggestionsHi, I think I figured out what the problem was. I just uploaded an update with the fix. Please let me know if you are still having the same issue with the Dim Background option.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Genesis Coming Soon] Some Plugin Bugs or SuggestionsHello Derek,
Thank you for taking the time to review the plugin. Sorry I couldn’t reply sooner.
The “Dim Background” option should only place a semi transparent black area over the image. I believe it has to do with some CSS used in your theme. If you could give me the URL of the blog you are testing in, I could check that out. This is indeed the first plugin I release publicly, and I expect to have some issues with some specific themes that would need to be fixed. (the issues need to be fixed… not the themes) ??
About scaling the background fit the whole page. There is already an option for that. It is caller “Responsive Background”. By checking that option, the background would scale to fit the whole screen. Let me know if that is not working correctly to have a look at it too.

In reply to: Media Upload not working (http error)Hi,
I have the same problem. I tried a clean install in English (and Spanish) on version 4.6.1, and the media library doesn’t work. I get this JavaScript error:

I there is a fix, please share it. Thanks!
UPDATE:
I deleted the browser cache entirely and all Internet files and now the Media Library seems to work just fine. Really weird as I did a clean, new install in a different domain. Apparently it works fine now, I hope this helps.

In reply to: Not getting the 404 WordPress pageThank you for you answer Trisha. I DO have one, and by removing those lines it shows as it should. So far everything is working fine without those lines.
