Did you ever find an answer to this? I’m having the same issue. Even using WP Safemode.

I’m having this issue with WordPress 4.0 and Open Tickets Community Edition 1.7.0 as well, makes me not want to pay for the full product if I can’t figure it out. Has anyone tried manually fixing the issue? I’m about to dive into line 420 and see if I can’t hack in a fix..
