It doesn’t, you need to have at least version 4.0.3.3 because in that version there were breaking changes in how the API works. Will add this requirement to the documentation.

It’s weird that the former one isn’t working on your site, haven’t seen that issue in other sites.

I’ll look into it and see what can be done from my side.

Also, you can create your own widget, so you could use your custom icon or something like that and just add the darkmode-enable class to it. You would need to enable the setting in the settings page of the plugin.

The plugin doesn’t change any actual colors to black, so my guess is that your issue is somewhere else.

Also, once you uninstall it there’s no way for the plugin to keep working as it removes the script that enables it. Maybe try clearing the cache of your website so the changes take place in the front-end too.

Elementor made changes to the forms API so we can’t support older version, is out of my hands.

You can get your SendFox api key form here: https://sendfox.com/account/oauth

Just create a new access token and paste that in the Elementor integation.

Without the API Key it won’t work, so that’s what you are missing.

Yes, you can use anything as a toggle when you add the class darkmode-enable to it, so you could create your own widget. But remember to enable that option in the settings of the plugin so the default widget is hidden.

To use this you need to update to 2.0.4.

About mobile size of the default widget, creating your own widget or icon would be the best option right now, but if you know CSS you can modify the size of it with media queries easily.

Will add controls for the size of the widget on smaller viewports for the next version.
