I search exactly the same thing but… for pages (in fact for child pages of a specific parent page. There is an old plugin but it doesn’t make the job correctly (all text is whithout breaks and formatting and the title isn’t shown. See : https://www.aviransplace.com/index.php/get-random-page-wordpress-plugin/).

I’m 0 for code. So if there si someone good, please help… !

I search on forum, I search since several days, I search and I don’t find. I search with “category exclude display”, with “category tag parameters”, with “category invisible”, and I don’t find… I’m desesperate.

Does someone know how I can display the categories a post belongs whithout one of these categories (with always the same ID) ??? It doesn’t seem but it’s very usefull when you want to use a category to order posts in an invisible way… ??

I don’t think so. I’m not searching to change the design of my category page, I want to change only the design of posts witch belong to this category.
So if I click in homepage on my category : “Cooking”, I want to have the list of articles like for others categories, whith the same design, but when I will click on an article link, I want to arrive on this post with a new designe, different from other posts in other categories. Category Templates don’t seem to help me for this. Thanks anyway for your response because I know now the Category templates ! ?? But I’m always in the mess for the rest…
