Reading your response more carefully, I realized that you indicated step 1. However, in both links I provided there is a step 1. Should I follow Matomo or CookieYes guidelines? That is also the part that is confusing… Not clear if both links are aiming at the same but doing it differently.

Hello and thanks for your reply! Yes, I understood that I could add the script in my theme’s header.php. That is where the problem resides. For some reason, I do not have/find that file in my theme (inspiro blocks, free version). That makes a bit more challenging to add the script. I thought that a bit different script in functions.php could be a work around, but then the script needs to detect exactly where to put the text. Any thoughts or suggestions are more than welcome!
