In reply to: [Backup Scheduler] Step by step instructions to restore a backup? No, I never did figure out how to do this since it was all a little over my head. I stopped using the plugin because having a backup plugin that you can’t restore backups from is useless. I still wish that there were step by step instructions on how to do it and if there were and I could figure them out, I might go back to using the plugin again.

In reply to: [Say what?] Renaming "Domain" fieldHaving a guide available would be very helpful. I noticed that in step 3, you used two different terms: “Plugin domain” and “text domain”. I think either of these would be good alternatives for a simple “domain”, although I would prefer “plugin domain”. Whichever you decide should be consistently used; you shouldn’t have both.
However, I think that the description of domain could be expanded. Perhaps something like this:

You will also need to figure out the “plugin domain” of the string. Basically, it is an identifier for which plugin or module of WordPress the string resides in. Although the terms are similar, this is different than the domain name of your website (e.g. https://www.example.com).
====It also might be helpful to list the plugin domain identifiers for the core WordPress modules, since everybody has them, so that folks won’t have to look it up.
Great, thanks!
Thanks for letting me know! Perhaps the meaning of each status could be included in the site documentation so that others could benefit from this? Right now there is nothing at all about refunds.
The feature exists in the plugin, which means some users would be expected to use it. Of those who are going to use it, some will be like me being unaware that the Comma Separated Value import works for delimiters other than commas.
Other CSV importers I’ve seen include a field to manually input a custom delimiter or radio buttons to select between common delimiters. This has neither. I’ve also seen CSV importers that only work with commas. The way it is right now, the user has no way of knowing if this CSV importer supports other delimiters or not until you actually try it. Having it automatically import works, but a small note next to the dropdown menu (perhaps it only appears when that value is selected) would eliminate the confusion.
Now that I know it supports other characters, I just tried it with a tab-delimited file and it does work as advertised.
I had no idea that it automatically picked the most probable delimiter. Maybe just a small label or something would note that and prevent confusion? Something like what you just said: “CSV import will automatically recognize the most probable delimiter character, where the semicolon, the comma, and the tab are preferred.”
Thanks! Works great now!
They appear for me; or did you just upload a picture to fill in the blank?
Unfortunately, my reports aren’t loading either and the devs aren’t checking this forum…
