In reply to: [LowerMedia Sticky.js Menus] Add a background color to menu?To follow up, I changed hawkeye126’s code to:
.is-sticky .lowermedia_add_sticky { background: green; width: 100%; }
And that fixed the problem where the menu bar didn’t stretch the full width of the screen.

In reply to: [LowerMedia Sticky.js Menus] Add a background color to menu?This worked for my website: nuparc.org
Only thing that could be changed is that the background color only applies to the space behind the menu items – it doesn’t extend the full length that the menu bar does at the top of the page. Still, a minor quibble – I love the app!

In reply to: [Posts in Page] Add Lines between postsI have this same question – if anyone has an answer, it would be much appreciated.
Right now, I’ve simply put a post with a blank title and containing only an image, then inserted the post so that it comes between the posts I want to break up. Does that make any sense? So you get:
[Post]
[Image]
[Post]And that looks okay for now. But if we can get a real fix, that would be awesome.
Edit: Another option is to go into the code to remove the “Read More” button. To do that, go into “posts_loop_template.php” and change the line that says:
<?php the_excerpt(); ?>
to: <?php the_content(); ?>
Then make sure at the end of each post you put an extra line or two of empty space. By removing the “Read More” button and including the extra space, you’ll have a nice gap between posts. See:

But again, this is really a temporary solution.

In reply to: Accidental Redirect Loop/Website is downClarification: Rather than going to my self-hosted www.ads-software.com dashboard, it goes to the dashboard of my old wordpress.com blog dashboard – which doesn’t have the settings page that I need to make the change back.
So what’s happening is my new www.ads-software.com website is redirecting to the old wordpress.com webpage. I need to make that not happen. Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to access my www.ads-software.com dashboard, which I cannot access as the website redirects.

In reply to: [Pinboard] Left sidebar not taking up full space?Update: It appears this problem is only happening on the front page. On every other page, it does what I want it to do. I’m not sure why this is. Any ideas?

In reply to: Unexpected server errorRenaming the plugins folder worked! I have access to the dashboard now. However, what will happen if I try to switch it back?
What does renaming the plugins folder actually do?

In reply to: [Plugin: Calendar] How to center within the sidebarI was able to get the text above the calendar to center, but not the actual calendar itself. Any ideas on how to do that? It seems like a remarkably simple thing to do.

In reply to: Stuck at "Unpacking…"Still running into this problem despite letting the download/install process run overnight. Clearly it’s not a bandwidth or connection problem. Something’s going wrong, and it’s not sending me an error message.
Thoughts?

In reply to: [Theme: Pinboard] Header Picture FormattingDashboard–>Appearance–>Themes–>Search Themes [enter “pinboard”]–>Install.
It’s in the free slate of themes accessible directly from the dashboard.

In reply to: [Theme: Pinboard] Header Picture FormattingPrecisely what the topic title (now) says: Pinboard. For whatever reason I had typed “pinpoint” earlier. My mistake.

In reply to: [Theme: Pinboard] Header Picture FormattingApologies! I’m not using a commercial theme, but I mistyped the name.
