    Hi Phil, thanks very much for posting to the support forum. The timing is surprisingly good. You’re asking for an advanced feature that we haven’t publicly rolled out yet. Normally, our connections to ContactUs.com and our 3rd party integrations (Constant Contact, in this case) are built into our own forms. Introducing a custom form or any form not hosted by ContactUs.com wouldn’t work. But we are rolling out an open API in the next week. Would you be interested in being a beta tester for us? Normally, this would be a premium service associated with one of our paid tiers. But because and asked and because you’d be allowing us to beta test, we could offer it for free to you.

    I’m JJ from ContactUs.com Support. Well you can configure your Contact Form’s call out button to say “request a brochure”. This can be done by accessing your ContactUs.com account (not on the plugin; the form configuring needs to be done directly on ContactUs.com) and follow this path:

    Form Settings> Configure Form> Additional Settings> Alternative Submit Button Text. Here you can configure it so the button can say whatever you want.

    Or if you’re looking for a nice side tab button, this can be done: Form Settings> Configure Form> Tab Settings> Create Tab. This option allows, creating a tab button, which is fully customizable.

    Now for your question on the URL or page post this has come from, we dont offer that at the moment, but it’s definitely something we can look for a future release.

    I’m sorry for this inconvenience. To be able to help you, let me ask what version of WordPress are you using? also I wanted to ask if you’re using either Mac or Windows? please let me know the versions of it as well as the browser you’re using.

    My name is JJ and I’m from ContactUs.com Support Team. To start, I wanted to let you know, here at ContactUs.com, we don’t sell or share our customer’s information to organizations for commercial purposes, so you have nothing to worry about that.

    Now, let me tell you we have different solutions for this issue, and I will guide you through them.
    Initially let me tell you, as part of our Contact Form solution, you can add a CAPTCHA field to your form. You can find it by following this path:
    Access your ContactUs.com account> Form Settings> Configure Form> Additional Settings. Here you will find the option to add a CAPTCHA code, just click on Yes, and save your settings. So once your visitors fill your Contact Form, they will need to fill the CAPTCHA in order to complete the process.

    The other solution we have, is part of our solutions on our premium plans. It’s our LeadQC, which helps scrub out bad leads like “Mickey Mouse” and phone numbers like “555-555-1212”. so this would definitely would save you time and frustration.

    This second option as I mentioned is currently on a premium plan, so what I highly suggest you, is enable the CAPTCHA code first, and see how it goes, and please let us know too, so we can follow up with this issue.

    Were you able to use this plugin at all? Were you able to customize the form? So just to clarify, if you want to have a default template on your site, you can do it from the plugin, if you want to customize it, you need to do it directly on your ContactUs.com account. On Form Settings>Configure Form.

    @alajoann so you mentioned you were able to place the widget on your side panel but when you access, nothing comes up?

    Are you even able to see the part where it says:

    “Are You Already a MailChimp User?

    Yes, Get me my form/ No, Signup for MailChimp”

    This is the part where you need to enter your credentials, to access the plugin.

    @refreshzing By any chance you have other widgets active? I mean, are you able to install other plugins with no problem? because it’s really strange you can’t see the link…

    So sorry for the delayed response. I’m JJ from ContactUs.com and I’m here to help you. So if I understand, what you’re not getting, is the side widget, that is supposed to appear after installing the plugin, dont’ you? so judging from this request’s date I can tell you this must have been a server error, on our end. We’ve had different updates since the, and they should’ve fixed any error of this kind. Can you please double check and see if you continue having this issue please? it should be fine now.

    So if you want to translate or in this case, customize your form or tab to spanish, you need to access your ContactUs.com account (if you don’t have one, you can create one directly on the plugin), so once you have accesed the ContactUs panel, go to:
    Form Settings> Configure Form> Additional Settings. This part will allow you to customize the text that you see in both forms, as you wish.

    I’m JJ from ContactUs.com support team. So I wanted to help you out with this. Let me tell you, we mainly work with Safari, so we haven’t had issues with this browser. Perhaps could have been an error on our server at the time, but we’ve had updates lately that have fixed this type of issues. If for example, you cannot view changes you make on your ContactUs.com panel, you would have to erase the browser’s cache memory, so this can update the changes and retrieve them from our server directly.
