It seems to be working just fine now with help from a friend, but you might want to play around with those plugins I listed and see how cooperative they are and maybe find problems before they can cause trouble. ??
I do like this plugin and so do my fans. Several people have enjoyed the little prizes, so I hope it continues working and getting updates as needed.

I’m setting it up on my testing site and the wordpress plugin download thing says this: “Untested with your version of WordPress” on top of “Last Updated: 2 months ago.”
Weird… Just reactivated the plugin and went to the page. Oddly enough, it works now. I think another plugin was competing with it or causing an error. Most of my other plugins are deactivated, so a good guess would be something disagreed with it.

I’d still suggest getting the “add plugins” area in wordpress itself updated. That “untested” message can be pretty scary.

On the levels page is where it appears. I deactivated the plugin so people wouldn’t get frustrated with it never loading. I’m not sure what’s gone haywire, so I’ve got support requests in with other things that are acting up to see if the source of the problem can be found.

I generally don’t like messing with code unless I need to. I might try to find it at the rate I’m having trouble finding a similar theme, though.

Could try getting rid of the function. Or did you try that already? In any case, let me know if you figure out a solution and thank you for trying to help.

Okay, I’ll just delete it then. Maybe you ought to experiment with that theme on your own and see where the bug is. Meantime, I’ve been experimenting with a custom theme on a spare site I keep for testing. So far, it’s working.

I’m on the hunt for a similar theme that might be more agreeable, then.

Yep, it’s the theme all right. Just checked on a backup site I’ve got and it came up perfectly. Pity, I like that theme despite a few bugs that were somewhat annoying.

That’s what I thought it was, just wasn’t sure. You should be able to hit the regular register page and I can upgrade it temporarily, then. If you like comic books, you might want to keep the account after it’s downgraded. I’ll leave it up to you, though.

Sounds like that’s the only solution at this point. Can I ask that you avoid messing with the facebook login widget, woocommerce and BWP SEO? They were all a lot of work to get setup.
I can downgrade the temp admin account after you fiddle with things, if you want to keep tabs on the site and maybe enjoy the content, if you’d like.
