thank you
I’d like to also say I ran into this same situation with SiteGround reporting high cpu seconds, and actually shut down my site each of the past 4 months. Looking at my logs, it’s showing a nelio process getting a 403:
XXX.XX.XX.XXX https://www.mydomain.com – [12/Mar/2025:04:36:16 +0000] “GET /wp-json/nelio-content/v1/authentication-token?_locale=user HTTP/2.0” 403 76 “https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/plugins.php” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/134.0.0.0 Safari/537.36” | TLSv1.3 | 0.392
I have turned off the Analytics in the plugin and the cpu seconds has gone down to normal levels
I’ve gotten around this, sort of. In Events -> Settings -> Pages-> Event List/Archives, if I select “No Events Page” for Events Page, then my Avada theme seems to show fine. I then have to use Shortcodes to get the events list to show, but now I can’t have a Search bar. If I add the Search bar shortcode, then when I search, it shows the search results above the initial list that is displayed, which doesn’t make sense. Is it possible to have the search bar with this setting set to “No Events Page” and have the results replace the initial list that is shown? Thanks for any help anyone can give here.
I just narrowed the issue down to the SiteGround Speed Optimizer plugin. If I have this plugin enabled, and I disable Combine CSS Files, then the player displays correctly. I went into the Exclude from CSS Combination option, but there are no SSP styles listed to exclude. Any ideas how I can keep this option enabled and exclude SSP styles from being combined?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Site Down due to CPU usageWe are using the SiteGround Speed Optimizer plugin for caching. I’m not necessarily saying this is a plugin issue, but seeing over 1 million exe utions from Amazon, I was just wondering if someone had any ideas why this would happen, since it caused our site to go down. What would I look for in our caching plugin to help prevent this?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Not ShowingI tried that, and it still doesn’t work. I also updated to the latest version of The Events Calendar, 6.8.0. I created a new event for November 4, and it is not showing up on my calendar.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Not ShowingNope, I have heard nothing back from anyone on this, and it’s still an issue.
Which other one did you go with?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Not ShowingIs there a way I can get any status updates on the ticket, or anything if you close this ticket? Seeing how long this is taking, I may also need to switch to a different calendar plugin, which I don’t want to do. I have this on a handful of other sites, also using Avada theme, and it works great.
Thanks,
Jason@joneiseman using this solution, is there a way to default the view to a different view other than Calendar? I tried switching the order of the views attribute, but that didn’t seem to do it. I also tried adding these attributes to the [events_list_grouped] shortcode, but that didn’t work either.
Thanks!
Can anyone help here?
Thanks!
I’ve been playing around with settings for the past day or so, and I have a page created now using shortcodes (not really how I wanted to do this, but it may work). But, I want to show the search bar. I have the below shortcodes on my page, but doing it this way, if I select a different view, or do a search from the search bar, it keeps the event list on the page underneath the option the user selects, so it shows events twice. How can I have a default view when the page loads, and allow the user to change the view or search, and it not show my default view underneath what the user selected?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Not Showing@d0153 Is there any update on this? This has been an issue now for a few weeks, and my client needs to get their Events online.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Not ShowingI have already done that and events don’t show up, but caching is not what I’m trying to exclude now. I’m trying to exclude The Events Calendar CSS/JS from getting minified.
