  • I am having the same problem today. Yesterday it was working, today it is not. I have not made any changes. This has happened a few months ago. It didn’t work for a day or two, then started working on it’s own again.

    I am using version 3.0.4 not 3.0.5.

    I also tested by sending myself a message through my contact page, I did receive that in an email.

    I did try to change the plugin folder name and that didn’t change anything for me.

    I was actually was doing the manual update. (I am not sure if I changed the name of certain files, so I did not know if I could do the automatic update.) I tried it the manual way several times. Sometimes the ‘line number’ in my fatal error message would change, but I could not get it to work. After spending hours on it last night, I gave up and restored the old version I already had (3.0.4).

    At this point I am hoping the updates are not that important, that it would not ‘harm’ anything if I did not do them. My blog is part of my business and it was down for like 7 hours while I was trying to figure this out. I am scared to try again. ??
