Thank you for your response and the time it took you to write it.
Your directions worked perfectly, and i would recommend adding them to the documentation as a basic instruction that many people want/need to do with their wordpress sites.
Thank you for the response, and the valuable time it took to make that response.
I deleted all of my failed attempts to use the RUA plugin, and then followed your instructions.
Perfect! Things are now working the way i would expect them to work.
Again, Thank you.

In reply to: [Mailing Group Listserv] Have Pro key, but unable to download updateOh, i might also mention that the version that you sent to me nearly a year ago, never installed, and your computer tells me that too. (I, against the odds, hoped that another year of development and a half dozen versions finally got it to work.)

In reply to: [Mailing Group Listserv] Have Pro key, but unable to download updateThe email i received from your computer tells me it expires December 8th.
this is the documentation i tried to follow, but still get complete access to anyone with a URL to follow:
A year or so ago, i tried to use this as a partial replacement for the disappearance of YahooGroups.
I found some of your bugs, and a bunch of others; some as simple as use of deprecated php syntax, and typos in the code.
I got a lot of ‘whining’ from the developers, and when i asked if things were ‘cleaned up’ in the paid version, they managed to clean up a few places in the code.
They wanted me to buy the paid version, even though i could not get the free version to work doing functions they said it (the free version) should be capable of doing.
I was not going to pay for something, and then have to debug it for them; so i basically found another solution.
Then a month or two later, they decided to send me the paid version – for-free; but by then i had moved on to a real solution, and while i managed to download it, i never actually got around to installing or testing it.
My suggestion to you, is to move on to another ‘solution’.

In reply to: [Mailing Group Listserv] YahooGroups replacement???Yes. It’s nice you changed the description to now say “partial replacement” – but i have a screen shot, and that’s not what it used to say…

In reply to: [Mailing Group Listserv] Add New Subscriber to free version barfsI cannot add a new subscriber. I write software for a living, and would be happy to provide more information about your software, including screen shots, etc. but these “forums” do not allow images and your emails are from a “noreply” email address.

In reply to: [Mailing Group Listserv] Undefined variable: sendToNameSame issue here. We’re using free version, and have only one group defined. It appears that the somewhere, in the code, on the Troubleshooting page in the “Test Email” section at the top, between when “Subject” and “Message” and the “Group Name” radiobutton is pressed, and “mg_testmail.php” is called, the sendToName variable is never being set/defined.
