So I’ve jumped through all the hoops everyone has for me and it looks like everything is fixed when I update the WordPress database. Every time I log into the Dashboard it first asks me to “Update WordPress database”. I hit the update button and it comes back successful and then everything seems to work.

Why do I have to update the WordPress database every time, to fix the ordering issue? Everything is up to date with plugins, themes and WordPress.

I haven’t heard anything from you and the issue is still happening. I saw that jetpack was not connected to Woocommerce Shipping and Tax so I connected it and now it seems to be broken again.

Here’s some of the most recent logs. Okay, I can’t believe how dumb I am, sorry, but this is the first time I’ve found these. When I went to the logs before there was only errors from a month ago. I didn’t see the dropdown on the right that shows different days and what’s going on then. So I’m guessing I don’t have shipping information on some of my products? What is “id 4”? Is that a product?

I have more logs but didn’t know how to dump them all on here. I think you can see what’s going on.

I’m so frustrated!! Yup, it happened again. There was an order or 2 that came through the other day and then today, someone couldn’t order again.

I’ve contacted Bluehost (my webhosting company) about 5 times before you looked at it and they think they fix it and then it happens again.

Not sure if you have any other suggestions.

Hi @abwaita ,

I went through the document, and included the cart and checkout. I didn’t do the “my-account” because I don’t have a page for my-account. I created an order and the order went through but it gave me an extra 10-12 items in my receipt email that I didn’t order. It did only charge me for what I ordered.

So I went back in and added my-account to the WP Super Cache setting and placed another order. This time it went through and did not add the extra items.

I’m not convinced it is totally fixed as this has happened before and I though it was fixed and then we get an email from someone trying to order and they get the “unable to create order”. Configuring the cache settings makes sense, especially if the people getting the error have ordered in the past.

I’m hoping for the best. Thanks for your help. If you can keep this ticket open for a week, or at least a few days, I usually hear from someone having an issue within a day or two.

Just to followup and resolve this, I had a chat session with Cody from BlueHost and he said that all I need to do was delete all the iWeb files in my “laurieshort” subfolder, under public_html and then move all the contents of the “blog” subfolder into the “laurieshort” subfolder, change the Site and Home url in the database and I should be good.

I haven’t done it yet but now that makes so much sense instead of trying a bunch of DNS changes or redirects.

I’ll update if this doesn’t work but I wanted to close this loop.
