My settings screen does not have the checkbox you highlighted.

I’ve duplicated the problem on a site that does not have any significant traffic. I use WP Multisite, so it is the same installation. JamesEAllen.com is the site, I changed the Appearance > Editor > Style > Pallets > {Dark}

I’ve reinstalled CMB and enabled it, but I disabled it until I know you are available to look at it. I’ll see if I can recreate the situation in another site with less traffic.

I appreciate you following up with me on this. Once we get it resolved I’m happy to change my review.

Using the Developer Toolbox I found #consent-banner-settings, with background: #fff. I’ve tried modifying the theme CSS with:

Thomas, thank you for responding. Whatever the issue was it is gone for me now. It may have been user error.

The caption issue for me became moot; because, I ended up embedding the captions into the image.

I’m having the same issue but only on mobile phones. I looked at your site on mobile and desktop and it looks like you may have fixed your problem. I see captions on both platforms. However, on mobile captions don’t show in the gallery view but they are showing up when the slide show starts after clicking on one of the images.

If you made some progress fixing your issue would you post how you fixed it?

I also was getting this error. It went away after I disabled WP Mail SMTP Plugin which this plugin was replacing.

I poked around a little and found out that the T_STATIC requires a minimum version 5.3 of PHP. Once I upgraded my PHP to 5.3 it installed without any difficulty. I’m looking forward to trying it out.
