I just fixed the issue reinstalling the latest version of WP. Maybe something went wrong during the update that caused the problem.

Hi Threadi and thanks for your reply. I checked updates from the dashboard but I haven’t found what you suggested…I don’t see any button to re-install the core files, I have only the possibility to install new updates.

sorry for the delay.
For a couple of days everything was ok and I didn’t do any change from my last topic in this forum.
I thought it could be my hosting problem.
Yesterday and today my admin dashboard is really slow again and I had Getaway timeout simply trying to open an article.
I installed Query Monitor but it is not compatible with my current WP version (I have recently installed 5.3), so I have not activated it.

Anyway thank you very much for your support, if I find out what’s going on I’ll reply as soon as possible.

Yes Yoast has the last version but I had not updated some other plugins. Now they are updated and it works ok, althouh I still note some very small issues: when I check the content analysis, text with readability issue doesn’t highlight if I click on the eye. As for the rest, it’ ok!

Yes I’m using SiteOrigin on my site BUT the issue occurs on articles where I don’t use it.

Yes I tried renaming the whole plugin directory but nothing changed about the login. No caching offered as far as I know.

The version of WP is 4.7.6.

The site has no issue for a visitor, everything’s ok if you’re a simple user. But no way for me to login again ??
