In reply to: [Activity Log - Monitor & Record User Changes] Do Not Collect IPHi @kingyes ,
Thanks you for your response. I strongly appreciated your response, and I am glad to hear the results. I would like to confirm, if no IP address is collected (disabled in settings), this plugin will not collect or store any other sort of personal data from my users in all circumstances, right?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Activity Log - Monitor & Record User Changes] Do Not Collect IPHi @arielk-1
I greatly appreciated your input, and I greatly appreciated what you responded. However, I would like to ask if “Keep failed login logs” and “Keep Email Logs” keep any sort of personal data or PII, after I had set it to not collect IP address. Will it collect email addresses and etc?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Security & Malware scan by CleanTalk] Disabling IP Address CollectionHi there,
I do not want to enable security logs, as it doesn’t means anything much to me, as I am not planning to monitor each and all of my traffic. Next, live security logs like this is not allowed, if not outright illegal in many countries around the world, and I want to be comply with all of those laws.
Next, for the brute force protection, it collect IP addresses from my users, to perform this, but I do not wanted to collect any sort of PII (including IP addresses) from my users at all time.
I hope you could understand.Hi there!
Thanks for your reply, so the free plugin is efficient to be hosted on a shared web hosting services? Since I am using a shared host so I wanted to be sure if it is efficient to be ran on a shared host.Forum: Installing WordPress

In reply to: Open SourceOh ok I understood. Oh ok that good since if I was going to make it open source, I will sure use AGPL.
Ok I understood, since I switched license before too. I will put up a notice on top of the new site stating it. However I mostly take down the previous release and replace it with the new version, so if I make a new site that aren’t WordPress, could I take down the website but still providing the source code in Github public repository?

In reply to: Open SourceSo per my understanding, by distributing the super app (even if it isn’t based in WordPress and does not include any GPL-licensed code) with the WordPress site by making it available online as a website, I needed to comply with GPL requirements. Is my understanding correct?
Also by GPL license, does that mean I could license it in AGPL 3.0 too? Or require GPL 2.0 only? Also is it possible to switch back to non-GPL license if I do not use WordPress anymore in the future?

In reply to: Open SourceHi there! So per your meaning, if I paste the super app code into the WordPress page, and then make it available for everyone to use it, I still needed to license the super app code in GPL, right? The super app isn’t based in WordPress, just the source code pasted into the WordPress page and user access the WordPress page with the super app since the source code is in the page, does that mean I needed to follow GPL? The super app code is totally made by me with no GPL code included.
I plan to make my super app and the WordPress site available to everyone, so does it mean I needed to comply with GPL requirement?
