I have found the issue. Can you guys please check if my pixel events are triggering and sending data to facebook on my website now https://www.stylishpassports.com/? It seems that there is an issue with facebook for woo plugin I reverted back to version 3.0.33 and now my add to cart event is triggering. Your update versions from here are coded without the add to cart script to trigger on the add to cart page that needs to be fixed for all versions within this plugin.

I am curious as to why pixel helper is showing events firing and for other events, but on your guys end it is showing as not. Is there a way to connect with a live representative to verify a solution?

Hello I have done all the following:

1. Reinstalled pixel in facebook for woocommerce.
2. Excluded all woocommerce pages including Landing page, Add to cart page, checkout page, and thank you page.
3. Cleared all cash plugins including minify

Please see photo below everything is being tracked correctly except the checkout page is not properly loading add to cart events.

How can it be fixed?

Again, when adding a product to cart it should fire or trigger the add to cart action/event which it does not with the updated plugin version. Here is my log:

I tried the above as stated including shutting off all plugins besides woo commerce and shutting off CDN. I am still getting the incorrect Content ID firing for add to cart event viewed through pixel helper.

After viewing logs for facebook for woocommerce upon adding an item to cart 2 events are fired when adding an item to cart. Is this normal? It only happens with the add to cart event.

Is there a way to get correct content ID firing with add to cart variable product? Can i update code in facebook-commerce-events-tracker.php file?

Again Igor, I have used pixel helper to identify this error and pixel helper is showing the following:

Add to cart event firing the incorrect content ID for variable product variation incorrectly.

I’ve tested it out and seems when facebook for woo plugin updated the error started. I have tested the plugin without a redirect to cart page and on button click it fires content ID properly, but when redirecting to cart page content ID fires previous content ID of view content. I think facebook for woocommerce updated coding for this…is there a fix so correct content ID fires on cart page of correct variable content ID’s as previous versions of facebook for woo? I think they need to fix it in next update so correct content ID of add to cart fires properly on redirect to cart page instead of button click. Is there a fix?

Is there a fix? Has other stores using this plugin with variable products when add to cart fires incorrect content ID?

Secondly, does using a CDN interfere with the conversion api sending data. Do I need to exclude event pages (Landing page, Add to cart page, initiate checkout page) from the CDN (Cloudflare)?

Did you figure out what the issue was? I prefer the facebook for woo plugin and tried pairing it with pixelyoursite and it started firing events twice and didn’t deduplicate properly. Asked pixelyoursite owner/support Cristian for help and he gave me no answer if they were compatible with each other but looks like if you use both plugins together sends duplicates of same events with different event ID’s skewing data reporting. Does anybody know how to get conversion api working on this plugin? I hope they can add a spot for token with test even code.

Will this slow down site? Or defeats the purpose of the plugin? Would it be the same as disabling it?
